How about you roll back that update? Of course I did need to use Bluetooth to get the update and now I can't sync with Bluetooth...so there's that. Would be great to hear an update from Fitbit @KateFitbit

I have a 6s IPhone and an Inspire 2 Fitbit. Inspire worked fine up until last week I noticed it wasn’t syncing with my phone. I really miss the notifications on my Fitbit of messages and calls. I have tried Everything multiple times to try to get it synced to no avail!!! My phone finds my tracker sends the code and I put the 4 digit code into my phone and it says it’s connecting....... but never does! It just reads “ connecting”, until I close the app and then my Fitbit shows an X on the screen.
This is so very frustrating as I just received this for a Christmas present and now I can’t even add my new device to the app!
Please send us an update so we at least know when it will be fixed, otherwise I will be shopping for another brand soon!

So the thing I was worried about seems to have now happened to fitbit. About a year ago I was unable to connect my drone with my android. After searching for answers I found a thread that said DJI is no longer using Android and must be exclusive with Apple. I just downloaded fitbit to my apple iPhone and it synced perfectly with no issues. It would seem the update, just like DJI, is phasing out certain apps and it looks like fitbit might no longer be available. Just an observation based on past experience. Don't take this as doctrine.

PS mine's a versa lite that has been affected by the latest update, and will not sync. This is so frustrating. Please please sort this problem asap. Or send a replacement watch that WILL sync!

Since late yesterday afternoon I can't sync my new Fitbit Versa 2 to either my Samsung tablet or my computer that is running Microsoft Windows 10.  Can't connect via wifi or bluetooth.  Really need this fixed as I am a senior who gets credit with the Renew Rewards and need to be sure my info gets downloaded correctly.  Sure hope this is fixed soon.  I hope I don't regret buying a new Fitbit.

Is there any way to uninstall the recent upgrade?  This is a bit ridiculous and we should be getting updates at least twice a day.

Watch will not sync, pair or process update... When will this be fixed?

Yes, mine just scrolls telling me to download the app - no clock face or
anything. I see hundreds of posts from unhappy Fitbit users here, but how
do we know if a technician has a message for all of us?

Last Thursday/Friday my Ionic stopped sync'ing after 2 years of working perfectly.  After lots of rebooting/restarting/resetting with customer care online it was agreed it was broken.  I went and bought a Charge 4 at weekend, worked for 2 days and now not syncing!  Obviously my Ionic isn't broken it's the software!!

Luckily I prefer the Charge 4 so I'll keep it (and sell the Ionic) once Fitbit pull their fingers out and get this sorted (thank god Google has bought them we actually might up with a slicker/more professional development / product team in the end).

WOW, Trust me that is as mild a reaction to say the least.... I replaced my Charge 2 with the Charge 4 in July 2020 because I wanted to utilize, the GPS. The Charge 2 was working fine the only failing was a few years back with the fact that it was not reporting/updating my heart rate accurately, that too was the results of an update gone wrong. I see now that the same issue is happening again... this time it resulting in a failure, to track my sleep time. I called support 4 times yesterday spoke to at least 1 supervisor. Today I once again wake up to 9+ hours of sleep showing a bit more than an hour. I called again today and spoke to a supervisor to finally get a solution only to be told to repeat the same fixes done yesterday, with a request to call back tomorrow... The only question I want to ask is has not the telephone support team been notified of this issue?

Thanks guys and gals, Hal

My Versa 2 was working fine on Huawei model MRD-LX1 since purchased Oct last. Now it won't sync and having tried every reboot, unpair etc the message I get is no device exists. Exasperating.

The Versa 3 we just bought will not sync either. Like the others in here we too have not been able to sync.  Is there any update?

Oh yeah, but Fitbit reps only seem to read off script and tell people to do
all the recommended steps. They don't ever say oh there is an issue with
our update and we are working on fixing it. They also don't tell you that
if those steps you will make your problem worse

You would think that rolling back to the previous version wouldn't be an enormously difficult thing to do. Let's face it, if it is a difficult thing to do, you need some better developers.

I found a website that lets me install the old version of the app and now I can sync my Ionic. If I can do it, I would expect that Fitbit's whole team could probably find a way too.

Wow! If and I do emphasize IF this is true fitbit will be refunding a
lot of money. No one is going to run out and buy another phone for the sake
of Fitbit. There are other ways of tracking activity for example.

WHAT WEBSITE allowed you to reinstall the old version of the app???
