I got my wife's Charge 4 to sync this morning and it has stayed sync'd all day. In the App Permissions I untoggled everything except
Contacts
SMS
Phone
Location
It connected about 830am and is still running fine as of 520pm CST
this is crazy it's been over a week. surely after all this time your support staff knows what is happening. never mentioned anything when I said I had a problem. even though I said I had gone through all the tech advice also uninstalled and reinstalled the app etc etc. and still nothing. very disappointed
I posted in another thread, but cc here to make sure the dev team knows...
I have a Versa "original" not the Versa 2 but maybe this info will help. My Versa stopped syncing about the same time as the last Versa update. I also have the new Android App v3.37. I'm thinking the issue may actually be in the smartwatch. I shut off my phone and turned on Bluetooth on my Windows 10 machine. The Windows UWP app is no longer able to sync with the Versa. I have tried all the "quick" fixes like restarting the Versa, etc. Then I took the drastic measure of resetting my Versa to factory and removing it from the account. I did a "set up device" on the Android app. All was well until it did the update to the Versa. At that point the app stayed in "installing" mode for a couple of hours and neither app (Android or Windows 10) is able to connect to the Versa. Hope this can help the dev team debug the issue.
Best Answer@Sheilby Make sure bluetooth is on and working on your WIndows 10 device. Do a reboot of the watch. Then try adding the watch as a new watch on Windows 10. That's what I did. The phone still won't synch directly with the watch, but will get the data from my account via Windows 10. It does seem to have missed my sleep information, and I had to re-setup some stuff, like step reminders during the day. Note that I was synching to an Inspire HR.
Haven't been able.to synch in awhile. Tried everything, even reset the sport sportwatch to factory settings, re-downloaded the app,.but now I.can't configure it. Stack with a useless strap.with a pretty.screen.
Will start returning procedure tomorrow
