I uninstalled the app. re-installed it and it then gave me the option to update. I did the update and then it was back working

I'm unable to download update either. Have uninstalled app, switched phone off and on and still version 3 37 .... it's ridiculous!

I've reinstalled the app but my Andtoid Bluetooth is still recognising the Versa 3 ? Perhaps it isn't the updated version? Glad yours is sorted though 👍

I have a versa 3 since 1st December 20. Worked fine on my Nokia 2.3 android version 10 until yesterday. Will not connect anymore. Phoned Fitbit. No help suggested worked. They advised return to store. Argos not interested as it will work on iPad etc so not malfunctioning.
So where does that leave me? I'll tell you. With a £200 watch that's no use to me as a smart watch at all. No one wants to know. Fitbit said they have had issues with versa 3 working then packing in syncing but refuse to take responsibility.
An absolute disgrace of a company.

Okay. I downloaded the Fitbit app again from the Play Store about 3 hours ago. I didn't notice anything different about it in the Play Store except that it was showing as "updated 28 Jan 2021". I tried to pair my Versa Lite again and this time, it succeeded. It took about 5 minutes, but it seems to be syncing fine now. Note: I am in Australia, and I don't know if that makes a difference regarding when updates are available, etc.
In the Fitbit app if I select my "face image" then "Help and Support", the version is 3.37.1 (20243550).
I hope this is useful information for at least some people.
Cheers.

I followed your steps and it still won’t pair to my phone.
im lucky it is still working on my iPad but I can’t carry an iPad around with me at work all day.
I got my versa lite to I can see texts from my kids, on my Fitbit, while at work. Now it’s useless

If you need to set it up, it doesn't work.

It’s not just a syncing issue. And it’s not just android. Ever since I ran the update I’m having syncing issues, and the heart rate monitor is totally inaccurate (it worked fine before). I’ve had this device for just over six months and everything worked great until I ran that update. I hope an update to fix all this is forthcoming. My older Fitbit never gave me so much trouble. 😞

When is this going to be fixed? Some people are getting the update already - get this **ahem** fixed TODAY! These trackers are not cheap and this is definitely my last go around with Fitbit. The sense does not get the battery life advertised; heart rate is off on my workouts- I should have went with my gut feeling not getting the sense but this is the last one. Fitbit needs to get their **ahem** together

Hi @LloydAdams. I must be living in the wrong part of Australia as I just downloaded the app again and it is still the older version. Bummer

I'm in the UK, and non-essential travel is prohibited due to Covid-19 lockdown. I would struggle to argue that a trip to Australia to update the Fibit app would be classed as essential, so i'll just have to wait.
Has anyone on here from the UK sucessfully downloaded the update?
