Be sure when going to Google Play Store you specifically search for the correct update being Fitbit 3.37.1
After the successful corrected Fitbit 3.37.1 update my Versa2 and Samsung performed a successful sync.

Thank you for the update. What shall we do if it does not work after the update? My FitBit Versa 2 is in warranty, like so many others. My phone works fine with my other devices, my fitbit is compatible with my phone. I have done all the steps and still no luck. It appears this is still a issue for many. We are all trying to be patient and understanding, we only ask that FitBit stands behind their product and keeps us updated.

So basically since Sept 2020 and who knows for how much longer all Fitbit updates do is "We fixed some bugs and made stability improvements."
So no customer suggestions just trying to get the product to work, this is fantastic news.......................not!

I have updated to 3.37.1 and still cannot sync my Sense with my Android 9.0 phone.

The update allowed me sync my charge 4 once and only once. Now I can't sync again despite uninstalling and reinstalling the app, turning everything off and back on ect. After lying repeatedly to customers telling us this problem was on our end looks like this update was another lie from Fitbit.

@Antonypo This is finally what worked for me. I went in to "replace" the Sense as if I was buying a new device. After going through the entire set up it did pair and sync. I will monitor for a while before knowing if this is stable. Thank you for sharing.

this new version did not fix either of the sync or pairing issues on my new Charge 4, another fix is required

Updating the firmware worked and it's back to normal. My phone also somehow paired back to the Ionic even though I never did anything in the settings. I just checked it after the update, and everything is back to normal.

There is not an update available for iPhone users? There is nothing in the App Store and my Fitbit (currently has 3.36) had not worked correctly since I ran the update to 3.36. Syncing issues and no longer getting accurate heart rate. Will apple users be getting this update to 3.37?

I have a Sense running software version 44.128.4.17 and I've just upgraded my Nexus 6 phone (running Android 8.1.0 / LineageOS 15.1-20200219-NIGHTLY-shamu) to Fitbit app version 3.37.1 from version 3.26.1 (which I'd installed to fix the problems with version 3.37). I'm in New York and when I checked the Play Store it said a Fitbit update was available. I didn't reboot the phone or the watch, I just updated the app and so far it's syncing with no problems. I'm happy to have the Health Metrics back, too. As it seems the previous problems might have involved cache corruption, I'm waiting to see if the good performance persists.

Still not syncing. I have a versa lite and Samsung Galaxy j5 pro.
ive tried everything that’s been suggested and just keep getting ‘Bluetooth pairing is taking longer than usual etc’
Fitbit won’t show on my bluetooth list at all.
I am able to sync it to my iPad with no issues, but I’m not carrying an iPad around with me.
this is extremely frustrating.
