My wife gets a little range drawn on her cardio load graph but mine is missing. Mine always says "no target" even though I have a couple weeks of data and it has pop up messages about take it easy or that I should target a range.

Hi there, @Beaverfarthing.
Thanks for getting back sharing that the issue still persists. I'm sorry for this inconvenience and I've forwarded your post to our team so they can further investigate. Once I have more information from them, I'll share it with you.

Hi Lizzy!
Thank you for your help. I'm still experiencing issues with getting the cardio load target. It used to show up but then it's gone now. I didn't wear my watch for 6 days but I've worn it for over a week since that period and the target cardio load still isn't showing up.
I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, checking for app updates (none), and rebooting my phone. I have an inspire 3 and am on Android 15 OS. If you need additional details, I'm happy to provide them. Does the 6 days without data mess up the cardio goal?

Welcome on board, @Jenseng.
Thanks for sharing the steps that you've tried on your own, as well as screenshots of the Fitbit app. You've done a great job! Although you didn't use your tracker for a few days, the Cardio Load should have appeared the next day. Because this isn't your case, I'd suggest restarting your Inspire 3 to refresh its performance. Then open the Fitbit app and pull down on the screen to force a manual sync.
Continue wearing your tracker as you normally do and check if the Cardio Load Target appears the next day.

I have the same problem and it didn't work for me either. I tried everything. I used to get it everyday and for the past week I have nothing. Please help me fix this issue.

Hello @Sheva7
In order to help you, please provide some more information.
Which Fitbit device do you use? Which version of the Fitbit app are you using?
Are you getting a Daily Readiness score? Do you get your Resting Heart Rate (RHR) and Heart Rate Variability (HRV) metrics? Do you get sleep stages graphs?
My apologies if you've already reviewed this information. This help page explains how cardio load & target load are calculated, including what metrics are used by the algorithm (<-- click link)

Welcome on board, @Sheva7. @RiekoC Thanks for your help.
@Sheva7 Thanks for trying the steps suggested above. As you may know, our team recently released a new update for the Fitbit app. I understand that you might have tried this before, but please make sure the Fitbit app is updated on your phone, reboot your phone and pull down on the screen after opening the Fitbit app to force a manual sync.
Wear your Fitbit device one more time and let me know if the Target starts appearing afterward.

Hi Lizzie
I now have the cardio load showing - the process of switching to a Google account seems to have jolted it into visibility.

I'm on app v4.42.1 on Android
It's astonishing to see how long it takes you guys to fix a small bug.
EDIT : Updated to 4.42.2, to no avail
EDIT2 : Uninstalled and reinstalled the app, to no avail either

As one of the earlier authors of this trail, I can report that still no actual cardio target on either my own Charge 5 or my wife’s Sense 2. We do get a range most of the time but not all of the time. All pretty poor really. The other aspect that really irritates me is the lack of sophistication in the ranges. Yesterday I was told to take it easy ‘Go Slow’ were the exact words. Today I am told I am at risk of under-training with a daft range to achieve. Just very clunky and clearly limited to about 5 stock sentences.

I have been getting cardio load targets then suddenly I stopped getting targets. I uninstalled app then reinstalled and I got a target the following day. It then stopped again and has not come back. I tried to uninstall and reinstall but it did not work this time. Is anyone else having a problem with cardio load targets?

Hi Lizzy. This is becoming very frustrating. For the second time this year l am not getting cardio load targets or notifications. From the attached screenshot you can see I was getting targets then it stopped for 3 days. I uninstalled the app and reinstalled and got a target the next day but no notification. It has now stopped again. I cannot understand my I am getting targets and notifications every day and then it just stops despite me wearing my versa 4 every day. What can be done to fix this.

@TerryG64 That's very interesting to see a graph showing the target some days and not others. I imagine that shows its not just a display problem.
I, for one, never got any target on the graph.

Target appeared for me when I switched to a Google account

Seems a bit of a shame to be obliged to take on a Google account simply to allow a target to appear. Not all of us are big Google fans or like the idea of being manipulated by big tech.

IIRC correctly, you won't have a choice anyway: it won't be possible to keep using the Fitbit app without a Google account

@LizzyFitbit I’m experiencing the same issue. It hasn’t been calculating the cardio load target for the last couple of days but used to before. I’ve had my watch for 3 months have worn it everyday since the purchase. I’ve tried to delete and reinstall the app as suggested above but it didn’t help.

Hello Lizzy, Rieko and all. Just wanted to advise that our ‘on and off’ relationship with Cardio Load (and Readiness Score for my wife) continues. Frankly I am resigned to it being unreliable and thus pretty useless unless I concede to switching to Google.
I also wanted to register that the ‘target ranges’ I get issued with (in the supporting text, never as an actual target) are more often than not, utter nonsense. I know that this is meant to only be an indicator and all the small print will tell us that we must judge for ourselves. To illustrate my point, I am a regular and pretty good distance runner in my mid-60’s. Cardio Load consistently expects me to run a half marathon then two days later a 10k and then another 10k within two days before another half marathon just to record enough cardio load to keep things ‘maintained’. I am not even noting the ‘lighter days’ that I am expected to do in-between. This is pretty daft, I am sure you will all agree. If I miss a day or at least don’t run as far as the load suggests, my target load range then increases still further and I get told that I am at risk of under-training…! So all in all, what could have been very positive is actually a poorly executed addition to the Fitbit app. Personally I am finding it so frustrating that I am going to take it off my App screen and just rely on cardio zone and good old fashioned common sense.
Have Fitbit fun out there everyone.

Hi ThinLizzy,
Do you have an update on this issue? I have had my Fitbit Charge 6 for about 6 months; and I am still having the issues these other users are experiencing (ie, some days I get a pop-up message recommending Cardio Load range, but on the cardio load tile it always says “no target”.)
I have been regularly updating the app when an update is available, believing that surely this time they have fixed the issue, but alas it still hasn’t been.
I cannot fathom why a solution has not been pushed onto an update. This ie extremely frustrating to users that were expecting this feature when they decided to purchase this product.
Also; I tried to access the form to fill out in the link you provided, but I get the error message that the link is not available. Can you please send me the new link to that form, so that I can maintain a glimmer of hope that my issue will eventually be resolved?
Thank you,
Steve

Hi Abrienna,
Did filling out the form result in Fitbit fixing your No Target issue?
Thank you,
Steve
