Hi,
Has anyone received and managed to set up an Aria Air yet?
Got my Air today, but it's not listed in the Fitbit app as a device (on Android). Following setup for the Aria or Aria 2 doesn't work (not surprising).
I can get the scale to flash an "ota" message (presumably over the air) but my phone won't connect to it via Bluetooth (can see the Aria Air but won't pair) and the scale does not have an Aria network I can connect to.
Thoughts anyone?

My guess is that the software has not been released yet. Maybe they got sent before the software. If this is the case, I would just keep checking back, and expect it within a few days.

That was my guess too, but disappointing. Nothing worse than new tech that you can't use!!!!
Will report back on this thread if I get anywhere.

I think for now you should still be able to use as a regular scale - just not auto-connected to Fitbit, though I realize that's not what you want.

Totally agree.
Same issue here and seriously thinking about sending it back.
Not good enough for a multinational tech company.

Many thanks for that.
appalling that retailers like Amazon are selling products where the software for installation is not available!

Plz help me with set up secrets! Keep getting same error messages. Pairing denied or redo set up device. Again and again....

Sending an invite to add an additional user worked for me. What threw me initially is that the invite is sent to your fitbit-registered email address, rather than as a Fitbit app notification.
I have two users added fine, both able to take independent weight measurements.

I did invite another user, waiting on response. Not syncing for me.

Once I had updated the App setting up the new device was straightforward so not sure why you are getting a problem.

Yup, I have the exact same issue. I was able to get the scale connected, and invite another user. But I keep getting the same message as you when I try and use it. And if I select Now, and try and run through the setup, it finds the scale and then reports that it's not working and instructs me to restart bluetooth and/or my phone.
Very frustrating.

Couldn't agree more; very frustrating.
You can't even delete the device and try setting up again.
Yet again Fitbit behind in their software development.

I was able to delete it, but then when you try and re-add it, you're told it is already connected to another account (really? it's the same user ID!) So, I had to reset the scale, for which the instructions are crap. But I did manage to get through that and then successfully re-add the scale. I got 1 successful weight recorded. Came back later, and same problem all over again. The app is telling me the scale is not setup correctly.
😡
