Hi,
Has anyone received and managed to set up an Aria Air yet?
Got my Air today, but it's not listed in the Fitbit app as a device (on Android). Following setup for the Aria or Aria 2 doesn't work (not surprising).
I can get the scale to flash an "ota" message (presumably over the air) but my phone won't connect to it via Bluetooth (can see the Aria Air but won't pair) and the scale does not have an Aria network I can connect to.
Thoughts anyone?

Hello @Rachie16 and a warm welcome. Your BMI doesn't display on the scale. It displays on the app only.
I hope this link to the Aria Air manual will help you.

Unfortunately no. They keep sending useless articles.
Apparently BMI is through the app. Why have the function on the scale itself if it is not available?

@Rachie16 I think I know why the BMI is only available in the app. The scale doesn't "know" who is on it. The user becomes known when the user taps on Save. THEN the app can make the BMI calculation.
I hope this helps.

This would imply that it had this information to begin with. It has never even set me up as a single user to be able to select on the scale itself. I did send my husband an invite but it spazzed out.

Hie everyone. I'm sorry for the late response. I'm also sorry to hear about the setup issues that you've experienced with your Aria Air. I would like to follow up and would like to know if you get any error message. In the meantime, please make sure that you are following the setup process as described in this help article.
@Rachie16, I'm sorry for the late response. I would like to follow up on the setup issue since you mentioned that your scale hasn't been able to add your user and your husband.
Please let me know if you receive any error message during the setup process.
Please try sending the invitation to your husband through a computer. After this, have him to accept the invitation through the computer as well, not through the Fitbit app and see if your scale adds you as users.
See you later.

So I have got a million user guides, none of them so far have been how to see BMI on scale itself, or set myself up as a user on the scale. So at this stage anyone can get on scale and update my weight as it is set up with my account.
This article is the instruction that come with the scale and i have received this about 10 times through different platforms.

I have been amazed by the lack of professionalism of the Fitbit Aria instructions.
I found them vague and when I attempted to resolve issues with problems connecting a 2nd user, the process did not work and on line help was non existent.
I got myself connected to the app on my iPhone 8 fine, though struggled with the printed instructions.

Mine still does not work and there is still nothing apparently available for aria air.

I had no problem adding to fitbit Charge 3, you just need to update the aria air app,
They have fixed the fault.
Good luck.

Looking at all the comments over the past several years, I’m seriously considering returning the Aria Air. Can’t even get it to show up in my list of Bluetooth devices, therefore I can’t move forward. I already have a digital scale. I can continue to log my weight manually.
