Fitbit. Why can't the time be displayed at all times on Blaze!!! Very annoying. Going from surge where I could always know what time it is back to a blank screen (and NO. It does not always turn on when I move my wrist to check time. Only occasionally does it do that). Better update soon to make that an option.
And while you're at it. Make the swipe to steps right there. Jeesh. Have to swipe to Today then look. Really awkward and unconvenient.
Unhappy with new toy

Fitbit doesn't care. I have been so very disappointed in my Blaze. I will not buy another Fitbit and will not recommend it to anyone.

As for why it doesn't stay on?
The display is made with tiny LEDs that consume a lot of battery.
Try this, install the Chronograph watch, tap the lower right button. This brings up the always on stopwatch.Lets find out how long the battrry lasts with an always on display.
Having an LED display that turns off is nothing new since this has been standard since the 1970's.

I have the same issue . I want the clock to show all the time but maybe allow it to be turned off.

Thank you for replying,
I understand how the fitbit works. I need the watch face to stay lit up longer than 25 seconds and wonder why it does not. If I cared about the battery life vs. what I need it to do, I would charge it more often. It does not fit the purpose I need it for.

Please pass on to FitBit that the time does not appear is accordance with any type of wrist twist, or other action that would be considered normal for someone wanting to know the time of the day. The time on my FitBit Blaze only appears when I hit the left hand, singular button. This two (2) handed operation is inconvenient and undesirable. Please provide an update to the gyros/accelerometers to allow the time to appear when desired, and/or make it an option in setting to adjust the sensitivity for the action appropriate to the individual to facilitate the appearance of the time.

Are you sure that quick view hasn't been turned off?.
Swipe to settings, tap, check quick view.
The arm needs to be somewhat horizontal before twisting, I found I did not have to change the way I normally lifted my arm.
