Blaze Clock Display

Fitbit. Why can't the time be displayed at all times on Blaze!!! Very annoying. Going from surge where I could always know what time it is back to a blank screen (and NO. It does not always turn on when I move my wrist to check time. Only occasionally does it do that). Better update soon to make that an option.
And while you're at it. Make the swipe to steps right there. Jeesh. Have to swipe to Today then look. Really awkward and unconvenient.
Unhappy with new toy

@PhilthyC I don't see where it is an unnatural movement..

Raising the arm in a natural move my with a rotation of the wrist while the arm is close to being raised where the tracker can be seen.

With the are resting on my lap a rotation of the wrist will light up the display.

What I have noticed is that there is about a half second delay.

It often shows me the fitbit logo and NOT the time. Very annoying.

It seems that either you have a faulty or watch or you’re doing something wrong.

A gentle flick of the wrist should bring up the time, then if you swipe across the display from right to left you get the menus and the Fitbit logo appears.

Then the left button pressed should go back a stage so if you’re at the Fitbit logo it takes you to the time.

I would suggest you try visiting the shop where you got it so they can check the way you’re using it is correct or confirm that it’s faulty.

@ObliqueNZ I have to agree with @Lunar_Jetman the only reason to see the Fitbit logo is if the tracker did a restart which it should not be doing.

My thought of your able is to do a shutdown through its settings menu.

See what happens

Then if possible return for a replacement or contact Fitbit

As a nurse , I need to use second hand & it is difficult to have to keep swiping to keep the clock on. Can it have a continuous display?

Have been waiting on it for a long time Kim, it's not going to happen. Best is to look for a watch that already has an always on display like Surge or Garmin brand.

No, the display only lasts a few seconds.

I'm a nurse I bought the Fitbit blaze because I needed the second hand when accessing a patient but it does me no good when it turns off after 10 seconds I basically have to carry a second watch or use my phones stop watch this is ridiculous and it does not turn back on just by moving my wrist.

Why can't they just extend the time the clock displays on for 1 minute? I'm sure they could easily do a software update to accomplish that. It would probably not drain the battery too much unlike it permanently being on.

I bet they could. I'm a little annoyed with just a mere 15 secs then it's
off. I work in medical field and u have to check heart rate and pulse .
Well after 15 secs it disappears. Uggghhhh . Thanks though

Just got my new blaze.  Really would prefer to see clock displayed all the time.  Does not always come on when I move wrist.

I've had my Blaze less than 24 hrs and I'm taking it back.  Quick light worked terrible.  Never knew when it was going to work.  Frustration beyond my level of acceptance.

I would suggest asking for a different Blaze. Maybe you got a faulty fitbit. I’ve had mine for nearly three years. I did need to send one back, and they quickly sent me another one. It’s a great company. They will make it right.

Would you mind having to charge it maybe twice a day?

Nah you're just making excuses for what is a very poorly designed (and/or
executed) product that should never have gone to market! It's not much to
ask that I shouldn't have to press a button to check the time.

Install the chronograph watch then start the stop watch.

Too bad leaving clock face on kills battery. I’m now wearing Fitbit and my watch.

That is what we have been trying to say. The battery life will be greatly diminished with the display always on. TgisTis why there is no always on for the AW either.

I added a post in the "Features Update" page regarding this issue. The "features update" page is the only place that Fitbit will actually look to see what people want changed. If you still want this issue dealt with please click on my link and like the post. Hopefully someday they will listen to their customers

The only problem I see is the Surge is the only back lit Fitbit sells.

The Blaze uses diodes.

We currently have suggestions for

Keep clock face/device screenon for longer or per...

Display stays on

Make Ionic and Versa screen stay onlonger to read...

Screen “Stay On” Feature Alta HR

Alta HR clock display to stay on

Of course I guess it never hurts to start voting ftomf1 vote instead of adding to an existing request.
