Blaze Won't Turn On

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Hi,

Last night I charged my Blaze.

When I took it off charge it shows nothing on the screen.

I have tried every combination of buttons to power on and nothing happens.

When I put it back in its cradle there is nothing displayed on the screen.

Fitbit app says it is looking for the device.

Any ideas?

Is your Fitbit set for all day sync, it should sync when you open the app .

Have you tried restarting the phone and the tracker.

What type of phone is your phone?

How long was your blaze dead .I've seen it take 3-4 hours before the Blaze showed any life, and imI'using my phones 2 amp quick charger. A cheap charger or a usbUport on a computer could take a lot more hours, @Nicca012

What are you using to charge the tracker?

Your talking about charging from a battery that had been completely dead for an unspecified period of time. This should be a rare instance since a lithium battery should not let to get much below 30%.

I took mine back to Macy’s the next day. I had the store order me the Versa model. It should get here tomorrow. If it doesn’t work right, I will go back to a pedometer!

This has happened to me several times. Put it on charger, verify it is charging and come back to a completely dead battery and unresponsive screen. I would love the blaze if the battery lasted longer and wasn't such an inconvenience to charge in the first place. That mixed with this issue make me lose the thing in a drawer for weeks at a time. Frustrated.

Hi there everyone! Good to see you in the Forums and welcome to the new faces! 😄

For those who have posted that it's all working for them, I'm very happy to hear that and if you need more help, don't hesitate in letting me know!

@Ribob92, I'm sorry that you got disconnected from the chat with our Support Team. Were you able to get back in touch with them? If not, I can help you out with that, just let me know!

@SunsetRunner, I'm very sorry you're also having problems with this. Now, I've gone ahead and escalated your case to the Support Team again for them to take a deeper look and I've explained what is going on.

@Damommy are you still having problems pairing your Fitbit Blaze to your account? What happens when you're trying to get it to pair? I can probably suggest giving it a restart. You can easily do this by pressing the left and lower right buttons for 10-12 seconds. This will make your tracker to reboot.

After that, make sure you're setting up your tracker from the Fitbit app. Before this, I would recommend turning off your Bluetooth and turning it back on. Also, something extremely important, since you've not mentioned which phone you have, is to make sure it's a compatible device. You can check the compatibility here. Make sure your app is up to date and then, proceed to set it up again. For this, go to the Account section at the top right corner on the Fitbit app and select the option that says "Set up a new device". Follow the on-screen instructions and once you're done, your tracker should be syncing without a problem. Let me know if you need more help!

@Mike718, when you say that you put it on and it lights up, does it show  the clock face or are you able to swipe across the screens? Have you tried giving it a restart to see if it makes it to sync or to make the screen to show anything on it? If not, You can easily do this by pressing the left and lower right buttons for 10-12 seconds. This will make your tracker to reboot.

@curlyjo, I'm very sorry you were having problems with your Blaze not turning on outside the charger 😕 I hope everything works fine with your Versa and if you need any help, let us know!

@Nicca012, I was able to see that our Support Team has alredy contacted you, please check your inbox for more instructions and if you need more help, let me know!

@Kevin15721, I'm very sorry to hear that 😕 Are you still having problems wiht your Blaze? If so, let me know and tell me what is exactly happening now so that I can get your case escalated with the Support Team for them to help you out with this!

@x2x, have you tried restarting your tracker? If not, You can easily do this by pressing the left and lower right buttons for 10-12 seconds. This will make your tracker to reboot. Let me know how it goes!

Holding the left and bottom right button worked.  It reset it.  Thank you!

Try holding the left and bottom right button for 15 seconds.   It will reset it/restart it.

Good to see you all in the Forums! 🙂

@Miruka I'm sorry that your husband is having problems with his tracker not responding when outside of the charger and thanks for what you guys have tried to get it to work! At this point, I think he can get in touch with the Support Team for them to see what could be going on. I can not escalate his case because you're posting from your account and our team will need to have access to his own account, so, please be sure to have him contact our Support Team and if there's anything else I can do for you, let me know!

@Steve1977, have you made sure that you have the QuickView option enabled? If you're not sure, you can open up the Fitbit app, tap on the icon of your tracker at the top left corner and then in the settings, scroll down until you find the QuickView option and turn it on. If it's already on, toggle it off and then back on, give your tracker a restart by pressing the left and right buttons for 10-12 seconds until the tracker turns off and back on and see if this helps.

@Cmwinnie@Kimberlyone, I'm super happy to hear that you guys are back on track! 🙂

@Cheneilb, I'm sorry you're also having problems with your tracker 😕 Have you tried by any chance to restart it while outside of the charger and see if this makes any difference? If not, you can easily do this by pressing the left and lower right buttons for 10-12 seconds. This will make your tracker to reboot.

Hope this helps. Let me know if there's anything else I can hep you with!

None of these worked for me. It's also at a 95% charge (per the last Fitbit rep). Any other solutions before it goes in the trash???
