ISSUE: Can't sync or pair Blaze with an iOS device
BLAZE FIRMWARE VERSIONS AFFECTED: (8.301.7) & (8.200.3)
iOS VERSIONS AFFECTED: 10.2.x
*** FIXED IN BLAZE FIRMWARE VERSION (8.301.8) ***
Still having trouble? Can't update or sync?
Read the difference between unbonding and unpairing first:
Unbonding - going into the bluetooth settings of your iPhone or iPad, selecting the Blaze, then choosing "Forget This Device".
Unpairing - going into the Fitbit app, selecting the Blaze, then choosing "Remove This Blaze".
*** DO NOT DO THIS TO TROUBLESHOOT THIS SPECIFIC ISSUE ***
Now that you've read that, try unbonding BEFORE trying to update your Blaze firmware (see screenshots below):
Okay, I've unbonded. Now what?
Try syncing your Blaze, then try to update the firmware.
Still can't sync or update? Here are some suggestions:

Thanks! After the second time forgetting the device it finally worked.

At the risk of sounding like an idiot. When you say I need to update the Firmware- how do I do that? There is no available App update on the iPhone for Fitbit currently, and my Blaze was just hooked up to my computer last night to charge, but is still having the same crazy issues today (Battery drainage in 2 days, won't correctly sync time or steps).

I wish I would get to that step to forget the device again. My device continues to state "looking" on my fitbit account and my blue tooth will no longer move past searching for devices. I'm glad it has worked for you. This is so very frustrating.

Fitbit blaze won't update, sync or now connect. Restarted phone twice, restarted device easily 10
times, deleted and reinstalled the app twice, restarted Bluetooth a bunch, disconnected device from account and now won't reconnect. Sometimes gives me the code but won't go past that. Most of the time it just tells me it can't find the tracker.

I had to go into the blue tooth settings on my phone and forget the device there for it to work.

I removed my fitbit and tried to add it, now it will not even recognize my Blaze. I cannot update firmware if it won't pair with my phone. What other solutions are available??

I Have iOS 10.2 and my Blaze syncs just fine. When I try to apply the new Blaze update, it hangs up. Any suggestions?

YES! I'm having this exact same problem as we speak. My Phone cannot find the tracker anymore. I tried to delete it as well and start over and it won't even find it as an available device to try to pair...ugh!!! So frustrated!

Would this new update have anything to do with the Blaze not charging? I charged mine, got a notification it was completely charged and now its blinking red? I charged prior to the new update.

I'm getting the same problem, it's just getting part of the way through the loading stage and that's it.

The fix that will be released will that be an email or will it be an update that comes through on the Fitbit?
