ISSUE: Can't sync or pair Blaze with an iOS device
BLAZE FIRMWARE VERSIONS AFFECTED: (8.301.7) & (8.200.3)
iOS VERSIONS AFFECTED: 10.2.x
*** FIXED IN BLAZE FIRMWARE VERSION (8.301.8) ***
Still having trouble? Can't update or sync?
Read the difference between unbonding and unpairing first:
Unbonding - going into the bluetooth settings of your iPhone or iPad, selecting the Blaze, then choosing "Forget This Device".
Unpairing - going into the Fitbit app, selecting the Blaze, then choosing "Remove This Blaze".
*** DO NOT DO THIS TO TROUBLESHOOT THIS SPECIFIC ISSUE ***
Now that you've read that, try unbonding BEFORE trying to update your Blaze firmware (see screenshots below):
Okay, I've unbonded. Now what?
Try syncing your Blaze, then try to update the firmware.
Still can't sync or update? Here are some suggestions:

Any idea when there will be a fix to the Blaze and ios10.2 not synching? I got one for a friend for Christmas. I have one and love it but found this problem after I had updated my phone. I hate giving a gift that half works.....
Best Answerdid the steps suggested a few posts back and that seemed to correct the time on my Blaze and corrected the syncing issues.

Best AnswerMine worked for one day Now it's not working again and keeps saying it has a dead battery when it doesn't ! I'm so frustrated by this
Best AnswerIMPORTANT STEP:
go into iPhone Bluetooth settings and click the "i" next to Fitbit blaze. Then, FORGET THIS DEVICE.
Then, let the phone find the watch again. Proceed with having the phone pair with the device. The code will come up and this time it should work. Worked for me.
Best AnswerJust came here wondering why my Blaze battery is draining faster than normal. Was getting 4+ days last week. Now I'm getting about a day and a half after a charge. Different than this summer when my old Blaze wouldn't hold a charge for more than 3 hours (they sent a replacement for that one).
Mine appears to sync fine, but the battery is definitely draining faster than normal.
FYI,

Best AnswerSo my blaze is able to sync steps etc but have the following issues:
1). Need to recharge every other day. I used to get about 4 or 5 days between charge.
2). The blaze seems to be dropping and reconnecting to Bluetooth every couple of minutes or so. Likely the cause of the battery drain.
3). Usually have to restart the Fitbit app to allow the blaze to see the phone gps.
Hopefully this his is resolved soon. Luckily not as bad as not being able to sync at all but still rather annoying.

Best AnswerI had the same thing happen. Spent all day trying to get my blaze to sync to my iPhone. Nothing worked. Finally I tried syncing from my computer and it finally worked after two attempts and has worked fine scince.
Best AnswerMine too, battery drains a lot faster. I use to be able to recharge for 1/2 hour every morning to get a full charge. Now, when i go to charge battery is 1/2 gone with just 24hours of wearing it. Notification is turned off, display & heart beat are set to auto. Can't believe how much the battery drained now.

I'm experiencing all the same issues ...wish I would've read your post before I unpaired my Blaze myself! We're in the same boat 😞
