ISSUE: Can't sync or pair Blaze with an iOS device
BLAZE FIRMWARE VERSIONS AFFECTED: (8.301.7) & (8.200.3)
iOS VERSIONS AFFECTED: 10.2.x
*** FIXED IN BLAZE FIRMWARE VERSION (8.301.8) ***
Still having trouble? Can't update or sync?
Read the difference between unbonding and unpairing first:
Unbonding - going into the bluetooth settings of your iPhone or iPad, selecting the Blaze, then choosing "Forget This Device".
Unpairing - going into the Fitbit app, selecting the Blaze, then choosing "Remove This Blaze".
*** DO NOT DO THIS TO TROUBLESHOOT THIS SPECIFIC ISSUE ***
Now that you've read that, try unbonding BEFORE trying to update your Blaze firmware (see screenshots below):
Okay, I've unbonded. Now what?
Try syncing your Blaze, then try to update the firmware.
Still can't sync or update? Here are some suggestions:
Updated on 1/20/17 for clarity.

Any idea of timescale to fix the issue with IOS 10.2 please? My blaze won't even read the correct time now. Thanks

open fitbit app and remove the device,
then go into Bluetooth settings and remove.
and then set up as a new device works fine after that .

If it helps, I resolved this by removing my Blaze from the connected devices list in the Bluetooth setting of my iPhone.
i then fired up the Fitbit app and it synced again

Okay!!!!!
So, this at least worked for me.
Go into your settings > Bluetooth > Forget device for your Blaze.
Wait for about 10 seconds and reconnect it.
Then go into the Fitbit app and resync. Mine unsynced yesterday and said the wrong time. I had tried everything I could think of last night and this morning. Nothing worked until I forgot the device with my Bluetooth and then rediscovered it.
Good luck!

So I have done the trouble shooting. My Fitbit still will not sync. And now it is not holding a charge.
Is anyone else having these issues?

This fix is not working for all of us. I've tried all the steps and I'm still stuck with a useless wrist decoration.

That's great if you have an Androd device as a backup.
