Hey everyone,
We're excited to announce that with Blaze's newest firmware update comes five new clock faces: Moment, Circuit, Ace, Nautical, and Argyle! In addition to more options, a second-hand has finally made its appearance on each of the new analog clock faces. Once you've updated, navigate to your Blaze's device settings and check them out!
Moment:
Time is at the top, date in the middle, and your stats at the bottom. Heart rate will always be shown on the left, while on the right you can cycle through steps, distance, calories, or floors by tapping the screen.
Circuit:
Current day is on the left, and a progress dial for a stat of your choice is on the lower right. The dial will fill up based on your progress toward your daily goal for whichever stat icon is showing (will always be a full circle for heart rate). The white dots represent each hour. You can choose from steps, heart rate, distance, calories, floors, and even your hourly activity.
Ace:
Date is at the top, and your stats are on the bottom. The white ticks represent the hours. Tapping the screen will cycle between steps, heart rate, distance, calories, or floors.
Nautical:
Featuring the date on the right and a 3-6-9-12 analog layout, this clock face will remain static (meaning you cannot interact with it by tapping), and does not display a daily stat.
Argyle:
Date is at the top, time is in the middle, and your stats will appear at the bottom. Only one daily stat can be displayed at a time (steps, heart rate, distance, calories, or floors), and can be cycled through with a tap.
You can also still choose from the four default clock faces (Zone, Pop, Original, Flare).
Feel free to post any feedback or questions about the new clock faces. Hope you enjoy!

Whilst I would never choose red I am now used ot it and I quite like it.
It's hard to find a colour which doesn't glare against a dark background and I find the glow of a red shade better than a bolder colour which can be harsh on the eyes.

So after some faffing about, last night I updated and set up Moment as a watch face. Nice! Yay! etc. Except this morning I booted my Blaze up to find it was as if it was paused overnight rather than shut down - still had last night's time on it. So I tried syncing, and switching faces, and now it has the dreaded clock error and won't do anything - it is bricked, in spite of several attempts to fix it 😞 This makes me sad, but I'm sure Fitbit will update soon and all will be well...

I am beyond disappointed with the new Blaze watch faces
For the record:
But really?
Faces that don't fit the aspect ratio of the watch?
Faces that don't meet (much) requested functionality?
Faces that look just plain cartoonish?
Epic fail. FB (as the young folks are wont to say).

The font color should be changing according to our heart rate zone.... similar to the functionality of Zone clock face. The TIME should be thicker font with double dots at the middle. The heart rate font should be larger for easy reading.

Moment is PERFECT, but... It would be nice to be able to change the red clock to green or yellow for better day time viewing.

@BryonyRamsden what time did you start the update and how long did it take, did the update cross over midnight?

I like the Moment face. But as mentioned before, a thicker font for the time would be nice. And maybe the heart rate (and steps) a bit larger. The color of the time according to the zone, yes, why not? As it would be the numbers and not the whole background it wouldn't be so bright as on the Zone face. That is the reason why I didn't choose that.

Nope, it was around 7:30-8:00pm, took around 30 mins. Once it was done updating, I faffed about a bit trying to change the clock face, so when I shut it down it was 8:42pm. I know this as it was the time on it when I booted it up this morning 😞 and now it isn't doing anything and appears to be bricked. Am chatting with Support on Twitter trying to find a fix.
My last reply for @Rich_Laue btw

Great update, fantastic. Would be really cool if you could design your fitbit screen in the computer dashboard. I would love to pick colours etc and what info I want displayed e.g. steps, hr, distance etc. All in all, good update!

Just got the update with the new clock faces. Finally.. a second hand!!! as a physician, I can now take a pulse. Is there any way to have the face stay on longer than the current 10 seconds. I would like 30 or more but a minimum of 15 seconds. I checked the settings page but counld not find a way to change it. Any suggestions?
@AndrewFitbit wrote:If you are having trouble with your tracker or app following the update, please use the website dashboard to select one of the original clock faces and then sync.
The initial wave of users will receive the update starting September 12th, 2016, and will eventually be rolled out to everyone within a few days. If the update to the latest firmware version is not yet available for your Blaze, just hang tight!

There is no way to keep it on longer, but you could set a countdown timer and and it goes off you can stop coiunting for the pulse. Just an idea.

Ok so I love the new clock faces, but just a thought. The Blaze is rectangular why arn't these analogue clock faces rectangular.
