Hello, I got Fitbit Blaze as a birthday gift from my girlfriend three weeks ago. I was so happy when I found out that I will get them. All the time I took care of them but today morning after I was sleeping with blaze on my hand I found the screen cracked! I am very disappointed because I have had Charge HR for 14 months before and I had absolutely no problems with it all the time and it had only plastic screen and Blaze should have gorilla glass. What is wrong with my Blaze??

Hi juraj5112,
sad to hear that your Blaze is damaged.
Gorilla Glass ist very scratch resistant and pretty impact resistant. Gorilla Glass 3 which is used for the Blaze is thinner than it's predecessors while keeping at least the same scratch resistance.
But, being thinner and thus lighter, it obviously isn't indestructable, as many smart phone users with the infamous "Spiderman App" might confirm.
That said, one should treat Blaze with it's relatively large glass surface like any smart watch or, in general, any wrist watch - it is by no means a Casio G-Shock.
I would contact Fitbit support to see what they can do for you.
Regards
Stefan

WOW??? They replaced their fitbit blaze. They told me that the screen cracking is very common, yet that I would have to go buy a new one and if I bought a new one there would be no way to insure it for this in the future. So he told me I would pretty much be buying a new one every 3 months. AWESOME!! I literally dropped mine a foot and it cracked. Sounds like a pretty shotty screen. My iPhone definitely doesn't bust so easily...

Went to bed last night. Mine was fine. Woke up with a perfect diagonal crack, corner to corner, all the way across the screen. I think it's a stress issue, as impact was not involved in this case. No sign of impact whatsoever.

My screen cracked on my blaze. I chatted with them they asked when and where I purchased it and a picture of my fitbit. I sent the picture, they asked for my mailing address and confirmed that my new one will arrive in the mail in a couple of weeks. Great customer service.

I am concerned now. The sreen on my Fitbit Blaze is cracked. I started withthe Flex and then the Surge and now the Blaze.
I am hoping that you can get a new screen fitted.
