I just got a fit bit blaze. I can't get it to do texts or calls on the fit bit. It's saying I have to have version 4.4 or later. I only have version 2.59 and my device is saying my app is up to date. I have android, Samsung 8+. Idk what to do. I'm very frustrated and disappointed.

2.59 is the latest app version and 17.8.401.3 is the latest Blaze firmware. The 4.4 refers to tha Android version. I assume the S8+ is the Samsung Galaxy S8+.

Yes, the Samsung galaxy s8. Idk what I'm doing wrong then. It will not let me get the texts or calls.

Fitbit trackers are having some issues when connecting with Samsung Galaxy S8/S8+. Our team is aware about this and is working in a solution for it. In the meantime, you can always try the instructions provided in the My Tracker isn't receiving notifications (Android App) post.
