I just bought a Fitbit Charge 6, because of its capability to do an ECG and to monitor A-fib.
I followed instructions to set up up ECG, but there is no no ECG tile under Health Assessments. Health Assessments has only two tiles (High Heart Rate Notifications and Low Heart Rate Notifications).
I tried:
All to no avail. The ECG tile never shows up.
I am using a Samsung Galaxy A04, running Android 14 and Samsung One UI 6.1.

Bought Charge 6 yesterday and ECG does not appear in App. Main reason for buying this device vs. less expensive alternative which had better watch faces.I don't want to do an open box return.
Country: US, App version Fitbit 4.42.1 (110285696)
Phone: Samsung A25, Connected via WiFi (Verizion provides cellular service).
ECG shows setup phone. Get same screens in TomLN's reply

Same here. Fitbit where are you? We need some resolution here, as this is obviously a Fitbit problem, not user error by all these multiple users. Help! I need this app to work. I'm still running ECGs on my watch, but I can't get them out now.

Same issue here with recently purchased pixel watch 3. I'm based in the UK. ECG tile doesn't show up in Fitbit app and if I start it via the watch all, it freezes on the phone (like in previously shared screenshots)

I have the same issue it was working fine last week on my charge 6 then the ecg tile disappeared from the app. It still seems to be working from the watch. I am using a Motorola stylus 5g with android 12. We just got the ecg app working with the last update after months of it not downloading ecg reports and now it disappears. I have PVC and SVT wich is why I got the charge 6 so I can see them. It would be nice if they could keep the feature working.

The ECG data is still there, but it would take a bit of work to plot it. The ECG data is saved as a vector, in a comma separated variable (CSV) file in directory "Takeout/Fitbit/Atrial Fibrillation ECG" of your fitbit data export. So it exists.... however actually plotting it conveniently would require you to export your data (google sends via email after identity verification), unzip the archive, pick the .csv you want (which is in UTC time), then have some code to parse the waveform out of the vector, scale it, and plot it on a timeline using a sample size which is presumably fixed. Not how I will be spending my Sunday evening, but at least it's all still there and I'll wait for them to fix it. Fix it they should, because many people with heart issues have used their health savings account (HSA) to buy their devices with medical justification. Get to it Fitbit.

When I try to run ECG it says check app on phone to setup and stalls. App doesn't set up (blank screen) so I'm not permitted by Charge 6 to run the test. It may be recording my periodic HR but ECG won't run on the band since setup on the phone fails. I guess if it was setup it works but you have to live with CSV's but for me it won't run the test since setup fails.

Literally why I just bought it because my Samsung watch started to be on the fritz so this is disheartening paying for it to not have the thing I need most

Yes thanks for reporting, same here. Been downloading ECG reports for years with Charge 5 and Charge 6, now I can report the same issue. I could not get any ECG reports to download, so I restarted watch, reinstalled app, syncing working fine, account is in order, but the ECG report tile has disappeared. This was 'the' determining factor in choosing the Fitbit over another well known brand. Fitbit Admin - please reinstall this asap, and please le us know what's going on. Thank you.

I am also experiencing the same issues. I have tried all troubleshooting above plus those suggested in past community posts. I'd like to include my details:
Model and software (OS) version of your phone:
Model: Pixel 8 #GNB9QD
OS- Android 15
Country where you're located:
Canada
If possible, share a screenshot of any error or message displayed on the Fitbit app:
I can't get screenshot. I have lost the ECG notifications I previously accessed to download and save to my phone files.

Just wanted to be yet one more voice to add that the ECG tile is suddenly gone - just happened to notice this morning when I went to look at my ECG history. I've had the Charge 6 since Sept 2024, so it's not a new purchase. I'm in the US, and my location appears correctly in the app. Running Fitbit version 4.42.1 on Android 12 on a Samsung Galaxy A02s (older budget model phone).

I have contacted Fitbit support, they say they are aware of the ECG tile issue and looking into it. Try again in a few days 🤷🏻:male_sign:

Mine has just kicked in. Managed to launch ECG from my watch and open the ECG app, ran a test and worked.
