Unable to set up Cardio Load on Charge 6

ANSWERED

Cardio load is appearing on my charge 6, but I am unable to set it up. I get the first 2 screens in setup without difficulty but get an error on the third and have to exit. On the today screen of the App it shows cardio load but always says it’s calibrating. I do get a score most days,  just don’t get a target range. Any idea when this will be fixed?

@Walker963 Reinstalling the app won't delete your data (which is stored on Fitbit servers).

@flauschtrud I’ve just reinstalled the app again. I’m now getting the screen that was there before the app update, ie the original cardio load screen.

Hello @Walker963

Just to let you know, clearing the storage/data in the Fitbit app shouldn't erase your data. As @flauschtrud mentioned, your data is stored on the Fitbit servers when your device syncs with the app.

That said, there is a known issue where some users are not seeing their historical data in the Fitbit app. It's not clear to me why this happens to some users. So there is a potential that you might not see some of your historical data if you do try clearing the storage/data for the Fitbit app.

Hello everyone! Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry that you are still having trouble completing the Cardio Load and Cardio Target setup.

The latest version of the Fitbit app will be released in the next few days. It is meant to fix general issues related to this new feature (Cardio load and Cardio target).

You may not find it right away, but it usually takes about a week to cover all users. I appreciate your patience and understanding.

I wish you a sporty 2025!

Hello @DavidFitbit  - my Fitbit updated and still not seeing a cardio target in the tile or on the graph. When I click on it, I do get a message with target range that has an x in top right corner. The range disappears once I close it. It would be great to see what it is supposed to look like if it is working?  Thanks for trying to d

Per instructions I received today by email from Fitbit, I used the link in the email to  providing the following information to David Fitbit about my most recent experience with Fitbit cardio load. I have seen no improvement. The problem with unrealistically low cardio load continues. Today I did a spinning session of 27 minutes with 131 average heart rate that equaled 47 zone minutes. The cardio load was only 3.

Hi David,

UK user here, I've been advised to post into this thread as I'm still having issues with cardio load figures, namely the fact that I can do high intensity workouts (e.g.Zwift) with my Pixel Watch 3 recording the heart rate zones into the Fitbit app, but with a zero or near zero cardio load.   Oddly, Google Health seems to pick up the load time.

I've tried using 'spinning ' and ' cycling ' , the latter with a manual input of virtual distance ( which doesn't always save) , but no difference.   This is resulting in the app thinking I've not done any activity on the day, and also doing calculations for following day.  It tells me I've been relatively inactive, which I've definitely not.   The app has been uninstalled and reinstalled, all cache and storage cleared, and I'm running version 4.34.1.   Am I missing something simple here or is there an issue?

Many thanks for any help.

Hello @Wonderthoughts

I've seen that some users needed to delete & re-install the Fitbit app in order for the Cardio Target Load to appear. I also have confirmation from an iOS user that doing this fixed their Cardio Load & Cardio Target Load issue.

Please let us know if you're still seeing the issue after trying the delete & re-install process.

Bingo!  Finally got around to deleting the app and re-installing tonight. Yes indeed, the cardio target suddenly appeared in the tile and on the graph retroactively. 🤞

Hello @Wonderthoughts

Thanks for letting us know that deleting & re-installing the Fitbit app worked to display your cardio target in the Fitbit app. 👍

@RiekoC Didn't work for me unfortunately.

@Wonderthoughts What app version do you have? I'm still on 4.34.1 even after deleting and reinstalling.

I had success with cardio load working properly  after deleting and reinstalling the app but now HRV is not working.   Keeps showing no data in past 24 hours.  Anyone know how to fix this?

@flauschtud

I am also on 4.34.1. So variable in terms of how this is rolling out. So far so good for me 🤞
