On a whim, I clicked on the “try Premium for a week free” box that kept popping up in my Fitbit app (this is just Fitbit Premium, not the Coach thing).
I’m now in the free trial period and would like to cancel before being charged. The only instructions I can find re cancelling direct me to apple - but there is nothing showing up in my appleTV settings regarding this subscription (my others are there, but nothing about Fitbit). The free trial is definitely ongoing since my screens/info have changed in the app.
It’s really very aggravating that it’s been made so difficult to cancel. Could someone please direct me to the right place?

I cannot cancel in the Google Playstore because it is not showing as a subscription. I definitely do NOT want to be charged $80 for this service!

Thank you! I had the exact same problem. I checked this through the app on my phone and it still wasn't showing, but went I logged into my rarely used B account it was there. Cancelled now, I appreciate you saving me the hassle of trying to get a refund after being charged. 😁

As I said in my post, the only possible solution I found was to call Apple
Support direct.

@sleepy2 Welcome back to the Community. Thanks for getting in touch about this.
I appreciate the troubleshooting tried prior to posting. The subscription needs to be cancelled on the store that you purchased it from. However, you may want to confirm that you followed this procedure to cancel your membership.
If you're no longer seeing the "Cancel Subscription" on your store, this means that your membership was cancelled.
I'll be around if you have any additional questions.

I have tried every method mentioned to cancel the premium subscription. It doesnt show anywhere on Google Play, yet I have been charged through google play for one month subscription today. Going through the FitBit app I can see that the subscription is there but there is no means whatsever of cancelling it. It shouldnt be this difficult to cancel something

Hi @SilviaFitbit ! I was able to cancel my subscription thru the google play store, now how do I get a refund for the $80 that was charged? The app said I'd be notified when the trial was over, I never used the premium features and was not notified when the trial ended.

Sorry to hear that you cancelled your subscription. You could confirm this by going to the store that you purchased it from and look for the Fitbit Premium subscription, if you're not longer seeing "Cancel Subscription" then it means it has been cancelled.
Feel free to post back if you have any additional questions.
