How do I reset my FitBit Flex 2?

My flex 2 is not syncing and I would like to try a reset. But I don't know how? It hasn't synced for the last couple of days.

Thank you all. I've managed to reset it and get it working. I didn't realise there was a button on back of the charger and how to use it. (Press it 3 times and it vibrates each time. Done)

Thanks Helen! Your method of turning it off 3 times and turning bluetooth off worked for me.  I just hope it keeps syncing now. Thanks again NeneL

I bought a Flex 2 tracker and installed the App on my Galaxy Samsung Note 3.
I have tried to start the Firmware Update and Sync following all the advises in this forum.

I even tried the restart the tracker 3 times advise with no luck. The app. cant update and cannot Sync with the Flex 2 tracker, so im still stucked with a not working Flex 2 tracker issue.

Seems i have to return it to the store where i bought it instead of swapping my cell phone.

You are all probably shaking you head at this, but where is the button below the charging unit that I push 3 times to reset my flex2?

Best Answer

If your charger is a genuine fitbit one the button will be on the underside of the charging cradle (on the bottom of it that it sits on. If it is not a fitbit one you will need to get one from fitbit before you can restart, except by running your battery flat for a few hours abd then recharging it. It is not good for battery life to repeatedly do this.

I have had a sync problem for years: sync and then no sync..  my bullet has 3 dots embed center edge.  The bullet is embedded in the charger and when charged, it shows white and 1 green.

The dashboard shows sync or no sync.  I vaguely a sketch which shows loading and 3 touches,  Maybe somebody has that.  Try to contact support

My flex 2 is working now.  I charge it every night.

Good luck.  Frank

Tried all the others with no success but this one did the trick. Thank you.

After trying the other fixes this one finally worked. Thanks.

Need to reset flex 2

After allowing my Fitbit Flex 2's charge level to deplete to a single dot, I plugged it in, with a resulting light indicator of 4 white and 1 pink dot flashing simultaneously.   I've tried the resetting the Flex 2 using the three pushes method, but the Flex 2 is not responding with the expected vibrate or removal of the aforementioned flashing dots.   Any suggestions are very much appreciated.

Did you let it re charge before reset ? The only other help I could offer is to persevere. Once it vibrates and the lights do their thing hopefully it’ll work

I notice that if I remove the app from my phone and add it again, it resumes tracking immediately after you log in.

Thank you so much for replying. I think I’d be scared I’d lose everything!

Happily it hasn’t come to that yet anyway. It seems to be working fine. Fingers crossed that continues.

All very best to you,

Mandy

I've tried this step as well and it vibrated, however it hasn't reset or continued charging beyond the 1 white light. Am I missing something?

The only advice I can give is to keep repeating the step. Mine eventually reset after numerous try’s. Beyond that I’d guess you’ll need a new one.

I’ve tried to reset my Fitbit as I had the sole blue light on. I get the five lights coming on and everything seems ok but, as soon as I take it out of the charger, the sole blue light comes on.  I’ve tone this several times but nothing is changing. Please advise.
