After the new OS update, I am unable to save my custom stats. I like to view particular things when I run, bike, etc. I work out 2-4 times a day, and it is frustrating to have to reset these before every single exercise. Anyone know what is going on with it?

Ok mederator.
It is Time to give us à feedback about the developpers working on this issue.
Prove us that we are not wasting out time here.
It is clear that nothing as change for this issue. No update.
Now we want a solution.
Overwise, i think my next comment will be public un a commercial web site.
The Watch is very expensive and custumers deserve à better service.

The default Walk settings in the Exercise app for the Ionic can be changed to suit the user needs by tapping the gear wheel. This is a useful feature.
Unfortunately, there is a bug in the software that causes the settings the user chooses to return to default each time the watch syncs with the iPhone app.
I reported this to support and they told me that they were aware of the error and that it would be fixed.
This has not happened after two software updates.
I believe that this error is also affecting other features of the Exercise App.
The only workaround at present is to stop syncing Ionic with the FitBit app which is an inconvenience.
Can FitBit please fix this annoying software glitch.

A definite must, it took me a while to set it the way I wanted it and then a few minutes later it went back to default which is useless for me.

I agree it is annoying, they promised me it would be fixed and it is still there.

Hello everyone! Thanks for your participation on this thread regarding custom stats not saving on your watch.
Our team has received the feedback from everyone in this thread and is working to investigate these reports further. I will share updates from the team when I hear them. Thanks to everyone for your reports and understanding. In the meantime, I recommend restarting your watch and checking if the custom stats will save.
Will keep you posted!

I have restarted the watch, and factory reset the watch, uninstalled/reinstalled the Android app, removed Bluetooth pairing, cleared app data, removed the watch from my account and re-added it — and custom stats still don't save.
Except for one particular activity. Has someone forgotten to iterate over an array?

The fact that this thread is over 3 months old without resolution says only one thing; Fitbit thinks it is more important to get new customers than it is to keep existing ones. There can be no other excuse for the lack of urgency they’ve shown in fixing this obvious flaw. Sad.

Just adding my name to this 3 month old list. Same problem with Fitbit Versa. I was so excited to upgrade from the charge2, now I wish I hadn’t. I have tried rebooting the watch, no luck. Where are the Fitbit moderaters and development on this? I’ll probably be returning it 😞

Is there any news here?
This issue is terribly anoying...
Very bat point if there is no update.😞
For me it is the most important issue i have encountered.
Sooooo, Fitbit?

Another month has gone by with no action on Fitbit's part. It would seem less rude on their part if we had some feedback to let us know that they are alive. Like - sorry guys but we do not have a fix yet because of xyz problem or other (lack of qualified fixer type people on staff ... ?).

Well, I started this thread and in my case this problem is solved. Actually, it was already solved since 32.10.15. It is very strange that it works for some and not for everybody. I wonder if it has something to do with the Fitbit App or IOS and Android. I use an Iphone (6). Everything updated on latest software.

Just adding my post from another thread of the same issue.
This issue is NOT fixed...even with the latest update. Here are the scenarios using Weights as the example.
1. Go into Exercise > Weights config > Customize stats > middle stat. Untick a few things I don't want to show. Go back to weights screen > start workout. Keeps settings during workout. Finish workout and go about my business. The settings will reset at some point.
2. Go into Exercise > Weights config > Customize stats > middle stat. Untick a few things I don't want to show. Exit the exercise screen without doing a workout and go right back to weights screen > start workout. Keeps settings during workout. Finish workout and go about my business. The settings will reset at some point.
3. Go into Exercise > Weights config > Customize stats > middle stat. Untick a few things I don't want to show. Exit the exercise screen without doing a workout and go right back to weights config > Customize stats > middle stat and the settings are kept. Exit the exercise screen and go about my business. The settings will reset at some point.
4. Go into Exercise > Weights config > Customize stats > middle stat. Untick a few things I don't want to show. Exit the exercise screen and go about my business. The settings will reset at some point.
Unfortunately I have gotten into the habit of redoing the config every time I do an exercise. I would really like this to be resolved.

Is there a fitbit moderator for these comments? Over time, there have been some comments that indicate that the problem has been fixed if you are using an iPhone but apparently not for others. I would like to see a fitbit person comment on this.
