After only having this thing for a dew weeks the display is off and will not come back on, even when plugged into a USB. Was charged and is just not coming back up- please help- reset procedure?

The Hard reset (3 buttons pressed for about 10 seconds) worked for me. It's fine now. Many thanks for the help and support.

Computer Service NOT helpful. I've been on chat with someone for over an hour because I had to create a video of myself doing the 47000th reset that still did not work. Nightmare getting video transferred via email and I'm not into sharing Google Drive links from my computer to strangers. I'm starting to regret the decision not to go with Apple watch...

I was so worried this morning when mine was dead and didn't immediately show charging when I plugged it in. It had nothing. Just a black screen of death. The reset buttons didn't immediately work for me. I left it plugged in for about 30 mins, went back and tried the reset buttons and voila!! I held it for more than 30 secs before it popped up. So try a little longer or leaving it first to charge. Even though my screen wasn't showing anything, it did charge some during that time.

That's exactly what's happening to mine. I also questioned the little red light. It wouldn't let me sync, told me there was a Bluetooth error, full battery. It's ridiculous to sell it for $300 w/ such issues. Had mine for 52 days, now waking up to aggravation. I did try holding the back button and the bottom-right button...about 10 seconds later and my ionic restarted. I can see my screen again! But it stopped tracking. It only recorded 2 hours of sleep before this happened and there's a huge chunk of heart rate missing and now my battery is medium, instant change w/ the sync. Hope it doesn't happen any more. (Did not plug it in during any of this. Just laid in bed ignoring my cat. Lol)

I've had my ionic for 3 months and this is the second time this has happened. Thankfully the reset as you stated works. ...but why does this keep happening

Mine has been 'charging' for 48 hours now and nothing! Reversed the charging pins, still nothing. Most expensive, useless piece of crap I've ever bought!

After holding all of the buttons down while the crashing cable was attached and connected to my computer the fit bit icon finally showed up on the screen and it is syncing again.

I had to send mine back. It would not come on last night and I was able to get it working with a restart but when I woke up this morning the screen was dead again and nothing I did worked to get it working again.
Support had me make a video of me doing a reset and send it to them. Once they saw that didn't work
I was able to mail it back to them. I hope they can mail me a new one fast.

the same thing happened to me. the watch itself was on but the screen was black. I had to contact customer support and they told me to send them a video of me attempting to do a reset and a factory reset. Neither worked. I sent it in and then they had to replace it for me.

As a follow up, after many many attempts that day to reset using various techniques it did work. But there is no explanation as to why the reset did not work on the first few attempts. No issues ever since.
