My new Ionic Bluetooth doesn't work. It can't find any Bluetooth devices and it won't sink to my Galaxy s6.

i also tried this and it does not work. when my ionic syncs the line does not travel all the way across at the top so i know its failed. the line makes it all the way across on a good sync which as only happen twice since owning this thing. and it never updates my dash board. and also its very annoying well things are up in the forum as solved when there nothing like solved. you think brilliant someones solved it when really its just another restore remove and restart repair bluetooth these are not viable solutions...sort the software out....

I've tried all suggested steps and my Ionic still has not been recognized by either my Galaxy Note 8 or my laptop. I have been using it with both devices for over ten months. This is very disappointing with the price you pay for these. I expect to get more use out of it than this.

Ah ha.....
Have a new iPhone and a FitBit Ionic would NOT PAIR with the iPhone. After doing all the restart iPhone, restart FitBit Ionic, force quit App, reset network settings on iPhone, bluetooth off/on, in all combinations and flows, reading a LOT of posts on here where people can't PAIR their FitBits, I was about to take the FitBit outside and with my hammer beat the **** out of it.
But I read one line in here that made my head say, you haven't seen that, or tried it.
So, I did what it said.
On the FitBit Ionic, when it was on, I swiped from right to left until I found Settings. Opened that. Scrolled down and found "About". Opened that. Scroll down to the bottom and found "ShutDown". Pick that.
When the FitBit came back on, Opened the FitBit app on the iPhone, and tried to PAIR for the 20th time.
BINGO.
Now, I'm not at all sure what the difference is between holding the left and bottom-right button until the FitBit logo appears and it reboots... versus doing the Shutdown, but there IS a difference.
So now, the FitBit PAIRed and then I did a Sync and that is that. Saved the Apple Watch purchase for awhile longer.
So, if you can't PAIR, find Settings in the FitBit watch, and do the SHUTDOWN in there.

Hello @dwilson4421 and @MisterPickles, welcome to the Community forums.
@dwilson4421, I'm sorry to see that you've been experiencing the same inconvenience to sync your Ionic watch, and thank you for confirming that you've already tried all the basic troubleshooting steps to resolve syncing issues. Please let us know if you continue to experience the same after trying the shutdown process that @MisterPickles suggested previously, you can find more information here. Also, make sure the app is updated for the latest version available at the moment.
Thank you for sharing the steps that worked for you as well @MisterPickles. The shutdown and restart are indeed different troubleshooting steps, but both of them can be useful with syncing problems.
Keep us posted.

Same here. It was working fine so far but yesterday I forgot to charge it yesterday and battery went to 0. After I charged it again it's not recognized by may laptop and Galaxy S7 Bluetooth. And Aria works fine.

Wuj,
Which one do you have a problem with? You just posted 3 replies and mention several devices and a laptop and a smart phone... Does any of your devices have a setting to reset?
