Trouble Syncing Ionic with Strava

Hi, up until today my iconic has been syncing with Strava, now it’s stopped. I’ve logged out of both apps, checked it’s authorised and refreshed.

I've tried all the troubleshooting suggestions including, revoking strava access (several times) then re-authorizing. I've uninstalled the strava app. I've reset my fitbit. I've reset my bluetooth and gps and restarted my phone. I make sure that the green connected status is showing on my rides. Strava was working fine up until two days ago, now it won't sync my rides. Ideas?

Everyone seems to be having issues with syncing, Fitbit won’t admit but a quick read through this forum will confirm it.

Last week my Fitbit ionic was it dating on the app but will not update to Strava - last week it would happen within minutes

Uhm @SteveH didn't realize I was hijacking anything as my main concern was my info not pushing to Strava and this seems to be the correct thread for that... the syncing issues were just a mention. I'm new to the fitbit community, didn't know I had to read a manual first, but thanks for the warm welcome. 🙂

There is a problem with syncing with Strava at the moment. Keep an eye on the following thread which has the latest updates from fitbit:

Hi, I’m starting to get really annoyed now as it seems to be an ongoing problem for me. For some reason my runs are not syncing with strava. I’ve tried resetting, disconnecting and reinstalling on several occasions now. Sometimes after faffing for ages I get fit bit to upload to strava, but today to no avail. So frustrating! The whole point of me investing in the iconic was it has gps and links with strava, as I can share and compare with other friends using that app! Sorry to moan 😫

It seems there is an ongoing problem with Strava syncing at the moment. Keep an eye on the following the following thread which has the latest updates from fitbit:

@Tamaratimtamweb yes, it seems that the fix didn't work and they are still looking at it. They'll update the main thread (linked above) when there's any news on this so keep an eye on it.

So my run from Monday 7th and Tuesday 8th both randomly synced later in the day on Tuesday 8th. And have had a Strava update yesterday. Today I went for a run and no syncing again 😞

Hi all,

Yesterday afternoon my Strava app on my iphone 6s got updated and since then I couldn't sync my evening runs from the Ionic to the app.

I tried to unauthorize and re-authorize Strava and the FitBit (both ways) but I still have the issue. 

On the FitBit side, I am correctly authorized and it shows the email address that I use on Strava.

Please advise!! I can't miss more runs!

Same issue as of 05/10 - Did a long ride last night, shows up fine in my Fitbit feed, but will not push over to Strava. 

My my big concern here is that I’ve heard people saying “If it’s not in Strava, it doesn’t count”. This then begs the question, did I even ride last night? Or was it just a dream?

You may be affected by an ongoing bug with Strava syncing. Have a look at the following thread for more details and the latest updates from fitbit:

I have since emailed strava, who assure me that the problem was rectified earlier in the week and they know of no problem their end as they are receiving data from you. So why is my ionic still not syncing? Help please
