Hi there. I have the same issue. Ionic worked ok for a month then it just started turning itself off. Have tried restarting, shutting down and have now done a factory reset, but it won’t stay on long enough to do setup.... 😞

Hey Frank

have you had anything back from Fitbit??

yes they responded quite promptly, they instructed a "factory reset" which i did as per their instructions, however it didnt make any difference, the unit will not stay on long enough to do Setup or Update wont even stay on long enough to be recognised by the App.
i have sent then this info today & await their reply..... this is all getting a bit thin for me, seems there is a fault with the unit & i am clearly not a technician. wonder how long before they offer to repair or replace???

Yup, my Ionic just went dead...I've tried to reset, but it won't stay on. My phone can't sync to it because the Bluetooth can't connect. I charged it to 100% the night before and it stopped working this morning.

This is not looking very good.

Can you guys at Customer Support tell me how to wake it from the dead.

Thanks,

Ramone

My Ionic has been doing the same thing but sometimes it'll just restart instead of completely shutting off. I've only had my Ionic for a few months and it's frustrating, especially when it happens in the middle of a workout..

You need to reset to manufacturing settings. Go to online for instructions
or talk to customer service help center via text.

Hi all, my ionic just started doing this today. It was at all full charge and now it continuously turns off. I shut it down, reset it, hard reset, and now I am trying the factory reset but it won't stay on long enough to set up and or update. I have had the ionic for less than a year and have never had issues before.

My Ionic has been doing the same thing! Nothing helped!  I bought it via Amazon and they gave me an offer to replace it. Therefore I have now a new Ionic wich is work properly.

I had the similar problem. So I went into the Help information and
performed a manufacturer reset which solved the problem.
