My luxe has recently started going to a black screen even when there is still plenty of battery left the only way I can get it to come back on and start working again it's too attach it to the charger then the logo comes up and it's fine again. Everything else is functioning properly. Has anyone else had this problem ? Can this one be saved ? Do I just get a new one ?

I have the same problem. I've noticed it ocures after a notification. My luxe vibrates and then goes black screen of doom, and I have to put it in the charger to revive it. I'm buying a new one, because this is unacceptable. It's been going on for about 9 months as fare as I can see from googeling the problem, and Google/FitBit wont do anything.

Mine is doing this too. Nothing seems to fix it.

I have ensured I am on the latest version but still have the issue. This is clearly a software issue they have introduced. Every time you get an alert for any reason it switches off. Shame on you FITBIT. Or should I say Google who now own Fitbit I believe and have their own products. I have had various Fitbits for over 9 years I will not be buying another one and will def not be getting a google one.

So I talked to the support, and it is a battery issue. So old tired battery loosing voltage when it vibrates
My workaround is to put notifications in off. I put my daily steps to double, same with anything else that used to give notifications like activity minuts, etc. If it vibrates it will die and loose the last 20 minutes of data.
And make sure to always have a minimum of 50% battery. Because taking a run will drain it fast.
It works until you can buy a new one or get it replaced if it's within warranty.

My battery can be over 95% and it still switches off. Definitely happens when you get an alert no matter what % battery you have. I don’t have gps or notifications switched on (&I don’t run). I have tried to switch as much off as poss. (Unless the battery % is lying. I’m out of warranty. I started having issues very shortly after the warrentee ran out. )

Mine is definitely not battery related. I think that is just a fob off. It happens whenever an alert comes in or something that causes it to vibrate, even if it is 95%+ charged.
