How It Works:
The purpose of this challenge is to keep track of your daily step goals for April 2017. This is not a competition to see who can do the most amount of steps, instead it is a challenge to measure your consistency . So whether you do 100,1k, 5k, 10k or even 40k steps a day, this is measuring how many days out of 30 for the month can you hit your goal.
Some of you might have a constant goal of 10k steps every single day and some might have a variable goal throughout the week, for example.
Monday -> Friday = 10k steps a day
Sat & Sun = 6k steps a day
Regardless of how you structure your daily goals, the only thing that matters for this challenge is whether or not you reach what you set out to do.
Suggested Posting Format
1) Post either your constant or variable step goal.
2) Keep track of the # of daily goals achieved / 30.
Optional
3) Post either your constant or variable calories burned goal.
4) Keep track of the # of daily goals achieved / 30.
5) Post either your constant or variable (anything you want) goal.
6) Keep track of the # of daily goals achieved / 30.
Injury Notice
If you injure yourself during the month and decide scale back the number of steps due to the injury, then all you have to do is adjust your daily step goal for that period. If you normally do 10k steps a day but pull a hamstring and decide to do minimal walking (2k steps a day), then all you have to do is change your goal.

Since @almost_where okay'd it I started the thread for April. For me, the exercise / movement goal is the thing I have to work on the most. So, my goals for the month:
15,000 steps a day
13 lifting days (this is based on Wed/Fri/Sun)

Thanks @A_Lurker for the start. I am in.
I am cutting back my step goal from 13 k to 10k for this month and adding more stretches and strength training. The accountability matters and it helps me to achieve the goals. Good luck to everyone.
Step goal : 10 K
3 days of running (Tues/Thurs/Sun) - 13 days for this month
1 day Yoga - (Monday) - 4 days
Strength training ( Wed/Fri) - 8 days
April 1st - 1/30
Bhuvana
10,000 Steps | 4k Burn | 16 lifting days
Totally in this. Going to try my best for first week check-ins while away on travel and shoot for daily checkins when I return.
The one way April train of change is now boarding. Frontward facing seats only, no looking back. Good luck everyone!!!

Hello everyone!
I'm aiming for minimum 10k steps every day.
And as I'm slowly reintroducing running in to my life, I'll be aiming for 30 minutes every third day (3rd, 6th, 9th, 12th, 15th, 18th, 21st, 24th, 27th and 30th).
So that's:
1. 10,000 steps x 30 = 300,000 steps
2. 30 min run x 10 = 300 min (5hrs) running

I'm on course so far.
After three days:
1. 10,000 steps x3
2. 30 min run x1
Testimony here for the challenge!
My daily step goal is 8k
Yoga/Elliptical 5 days a week (Mon- Fri)
Strength training 2 days a week (Tues and Thurs)
I have already begun a similar personal challenge for this month that started on the first (so far so good!) but I like the idea of having some additional accountability. Thanks for starting this A_Lurker:)
I'm in again,
10,000 steps a day
35 floors
6 miles
Here is my start this month.
4/1 11.2k steps, 5.2 miles, 14 floors
4/2 18.3 k steps, 8.3 miles, 66 floors (No horse) 🙂
4/3 town day, 10.7 steps. 4.89 miles, 19 floors
