I hit another important marker this week. A lot of me reading is telling me that a waist measurement over 40" (at the navel for a man) is a red flag for health problems, especially in your 40's. At 39.5 years old, my waist now measures just over 39". That's another nice metric rather than just weight as I continue on this journey.

I was pleasantly surprised at the scale this morning. I wasn't expecting much as I have not been the best with food this week.

Another big milestone this week as my BMI dropped to 29.8, meaning I am no longer obese by any standards. That has never seemed attainable in the past and it's almost surreal to be here now.

Getting pretty close to my second weight loss goal, very excited to see sub 200 lbs on the scale. I will adjusting to a new and final goal of 180 when I reach this one. That's what my Dr and I agree should be good for me.
