My bulk to 170 slowly continues.  Increase was 0.4 lbs to 164.9 this week according to TrendWeight.

I've had several daily weigh-ins over 165 now, and the daily variation that my scale shows even in the fat component of my weight reminds me that the moving average that TrendWeight produces is a much better estimate of my current body weight and composition than any single weigh in.

I planned to lose 0.45 kg per week in average during my 4-week minicut. I actually gained 0.33 kg last week, so it looks like my "minicut" is turning into a maintenance phase <lol>.

If I end up gaining at the planned rate for massing when minicutting, maybe I should pretend I’ll minicut for the rest of the mass gaining phase.

Have had a flu bug that has hung on for 2 weeks. Starting to feel better. Fever gone the last few days so got in a few more steps over the weekend. Chest congestion, coughing and exhausted feeling not gone so will give it a few more days til I try a run. Had no appetite for most of 2 weeks but notice it is coming back so back on track with WFPB eating. Really just ate toast and drank te for 2 weeks. My body hangs on to my weight at this age! Lost a 1 lb and was not eating any more than 1000 at the most on any day. Oh well, now have to make sure I dont gain it back. Feeling like I can do at least 10,000 steps today and hope to be back up to 20,000 by end of week.

Hi everyone! Once again it's been way too long since I posted. Crazy work schedule 😕  Weight this morning was 144.2 which is up slightly. I had been pretty steady in the 142 - 143 range so I'm not thrilled to see this increase.  I've changed up some of my morning workout routines but have had to cut the time down to 30 minutes most days instead of the usual 45-60 minutes. Sigh   I just keep telling myself there's less than 4 weeks left and then I can hopefully get back on a better schedule. 😉  Have a good weekend!

I intended to lose 0.45 kg per week / 1.8 kg total during my 4-week minicut. It has now ended and I’ve only lost a paltry 0.23 kg, so things didn’t go exactly as planned.

I’ll now resume massing, six more weeks to go. If I’m able to gain at the original planned rate (0.25 kg per week), I should reach about 65 kg. That would still be historically low for me:

2018-03-26_0936.png

So I’m not overly worried about exceeding the weight ceiling I had set for this massing phase.

Finally getting some energy back after the flu....has taken 3 weeks:( Got in 15000 steps yesterday so will try to do at least that many everyday this week then hope to feel totally back to full energy! Eating WFPB going well, haven’t ditched oil or cheese completely but cheese is no longer my go to fast snack....use it in light amount as a condiment.

Last Weigh In for March.

Increase was 0.9 lbs to 166 this week according to TrendWeight.

According to my food log (and fitbit calculated energy deficit) I ate a bit less this week than the past couple of weeks, which is might seem strange since I gained nearly a pound as opposed to more typical half pound.  I may be undercounting some in this weight-gaining phase. We had a little more take-out this week which increases inaccuracy, and I noticed few times I didn't log until later in the day.  It is not a big deal since I'm in my planned 1/2 to 1 pound weekly planned gain.  Just a reminder that all this weight-loss or gain business is not as precise as the numbers on our trackers and diet logs might lead us to believe.

On travel next week and won't be able to do daily weigh-ins, so I won't do the typical post next Sunday. Instead of my TrendWeight numbers, I think I'll report the difference between actual scale numbers for 4.1.2018 (167.2lbs/19.3%) and 4.8.2018 (?/?)
