I've used all the troubleshooting tips and having to reboot every day. This started last week. What happened?

Thanks for this info. I didn't realize there might be an alternative. I wear my FitBit One on a colorful ankle holder. I think it records my steps better than on my waist. I don't want to wear anything on my wrist. Sounds like I could turn an "Inspire" into something similar.
When I lost my original FitBit One, it took awhile to track one down that didn't cost $350. Found one for $75 in Hong Kong.
I think there are a lot of FitBit One fans out there. Let's hope FitBit continues to support them.

Yes, my FitBit One has been working and syncing fine since this original issue last week.

Google Play has Fitbit App version 3.4, which is newer than the broken 3.3.X. It says the version was released two weeks ago (wrong), so it may not show up as an update to install. I installed it last night and 12 hours later, my Fitbit One is still syncing to my Android phone!
I recommend going to Google Play, install the version 3.4 and see if that works. This is safer than trying to find an older version at a sketchy site.

Re: Fitbit version 3.4
I actually found it on the phone with Settings -> Apps & Notifications -> Fitbit. That's where it told me there was version 3.4 and I clicked the install button. My bad for assuming it was available at Play. YMMV.

I agree. I also have a bunch of "low end" FitBit friends who are just happy to participate in the challenges.

My Fitbit One won’t sync. I’ve tried everything, multiple times. Reset the Fitbit, restarted phone, force stop on the app, uninstalled and reinstalled the app, added new device and got the code. That last one worked for an hour or two and then it stopped syncing again. I have the latest Android OS on my Stylo 4 phone, the Fitbit One has latest firmware. It’s been happening since the new dashboard update in the app.
I did did manage to get to sync to my iPad, but the phone is still acting up. Ugh!! I’m open to other suggestions.

I've been experimenting with my One today - ps it isn't just the One which has the syncing problem, it's across the board. Anyway...
I reset my One as we've been having to do and then it synced to my phone.
The next thing I did was NOT close the app on my phone - I found it's ok to turn off your phone's internet connection - just leave the app open.
The result was that the Bluetooth connection didn't break and my One synced every time I requested it for the whole day. So it looks as though it's closing the app which kills the Bluetooth connection for whatever reason.

These suggestions APPEAR to work at first, but then I have to keep repeating the steps to reconnect every day. I wish Fitbit would fix this for real. I'm on a Galaxy smartphone.

I have used all of the tips I have read. They sync 1 maybe 2 times then I am troubleshooting again.
This has been going on for weeks and everyday I am repeating the fixes listed on this help forum. You have broken something with new update and it is NOT... fixed.
I have had a fitbit since 2011 and you have always handled the problems with updates in a timely manner. I am becoming more frustrated everyday. Please continue to address these issues.
