Though Fitbit One is a popular product, as we introduce new products, we occasionally make changes to our product line to keep you on track with the most up-to-date health and fitness tracking tools.
As a result, we no longer sell the One. We recommend considering the other discreet options we offer- Fitbit Zip, if you prefer a clip-based tracker or Fitbit Flex 2 if you prefer a slim, wrist-based tracker. Or, take our quiz on http://www.fitbit.com/compare to see which device meets your needs best.
We apologize for any inconvenience and hope we can continue to provide you with Fitbit trackers you love and help you reach your goals.

I agree that it's a huge shame that Fitbit is discontinuing the One. The wrist trackers are just not ideal for so many people. I get the majority of my steps pushing a stroller which the wrist bands are terrible at accounting for. I love that I can clip the One on my bra and forget about it until I want to see my progress day to day on my app. I've been using my One for almost 5 years now and I still love it as much as the day I got it. I've loved the Fitbit ecosystem as well with the Aria, app and all the integrations. I'll be very sad to move to the Nokia that was listed, but right now it looks like the best option should I lose/break my One some day. I sincerely hope a new clip on tracker is in the works because I would love to continue being loyal fan and customer.

yes, it comes with a wrist band and a clip on, if you're talking about the Nokia GO that I posted 🙂

I agree mjkey, for some reason Fitbit does not.
I hope like heck they're going to unveil a "Two" soon or something similar to or better than the One.
Time will tell...

@dragonheart13 thanks for the interesting post on the Nokia go.
Should one switch to another vendor, the next natural question will be "how to consolidate the data accumulated over the years" in a place where data analytics services are provided. So either we need a way to feed fitbit cloud with data collected from other devices, either we have to extract fitbit data and import it "somewhere else" where the new device data can be easily sync'ed.
At this stage, I'll keep the fitbit services as my reference consolidated place for data until my new One device would also die (hopefully not before a set of years) but I am also copying the fitbit data in Apple health using the "Sync Solver" app on iPhone. I also have the premium FitBit subscription offering an "export feature" but that one is not practical to use as data can only be exported for a period of ...30 days! ;( Tedious if you have been with fitbit for years. It may be faster to write a script using fitbit APIs...

They're looking for new customers and have no loyalty to those of us who have been loyal to the. They believe we will all toe the line and do whatever they want us to do.
Very disappointing.

I cannot use the wrist based fitbits, because we may not wear jewelry at work. The Zip does not track much more than steps. No stairs, mostly. What other options will you be coming up with to replace the one? I am disappointed that I have been loyal to fitbit for so many years, and when my tracker breaks, or the battery dies, I won't be able to replace it with a fitbit product.

Hmmm ... as Fitbit doesn't seem to be paying any attention, maybe start a #bringbacktheFitbitOne movement on social media, commenting on twitter & facebook posts. It sort-of worked on Netflix for the whole #bringbackSense8 (while Netflix didn't bring back the series, they at least made a movie to wrap things up).

I just looked at the 'Go' . I couldn't find what the clip looked like, and it didn't mention whether or not you could get information on your progress unless you had a smart phone. I have a MacBook Pro and no smart phone. I don't think I would be able to use this.
It would have to have a clip, no wristbands for me.

Unfortunately Fitbit will not bring this product back , their focus is on making people upgrade to a more expensive product. Therefore increasing their stock value. We are nothing to them unless we spend more money on Fitbit. By not supporting the One any longer ,we are forced (if we like their product and service) to upgrade to something else. This is a world where all corporations get away with what they can. I am sure they call themselves an environmentally sustainable company, but in essence it us who will end up throwing their useless gadgets away.

The Nokia Go has good features, but poor reliability reviews from users.
Just sayin'

They are not being discontinued, the one licensing was sold to a third party.
Fitbit will likely go the route of GoPro and completely be done -- they sold the most profitable Fitbit, look it up; at no point in this string has any Fitbit personnel said that the sale of the One was untrue.

No. I work for a hospital, where things like bracelets and watches carry germs. The one has the clip on, which worked for me.

I have had a One for over 4 years and love it! I also have an Ionic but I use the One at other times and as backup.
It just stopped working and I want another One! I can't find one anywhere and one Amazon they are asking over $200 for it!
Please bring it back!

I am a Fitbit One user since December 2013, and want to add my voice to the almost 300 others responding to this. I have looked at the other alternatives, and believe that the One is the best choice for me. Please consider making the One available again. It seems to have a unique combination of features that I and many other current users value.

What is ironic, is that I have a more expensive device, but I find I use them differently. I just want my one back. I finally found one on ebay but it's coming from China so who knows when I will see it.
