One Availability and Alternatives

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Though Fitbit One is a popular product, as we introduce new products, we occasionally make changes to our product line to keep you on track with the most up-to-date health and fitness tracking tools.

As a result, we no longer sell the One. We recommend considering the other discreet options we offer- Fitbit Zip, if you prefer a clip-based tracker or Fitbit Flex 2 if you prefer a slim, wrist-based tracker. Or, take our quiz on http://www.fitbit.com/compare to see which device meets your needs best.

Please note that we will continue to support the One and, if necessary, provide replacements for devices in warranty.

We do know there are many fans of the One who would like to discuss alternatives and have created this thread for discussion and merged a few posts together. Please keep in mind Community Guidelines when posting.

At this time, feedback has been shared on the One status and there are no plans to bring this particular tracker back at this time, we will not be able to comment further.

We apologize for any inconvenience and hope we can continue to provide you with Fitbit trackers you love and help you reach your goals.

Very disappointed that the ONE is discontinued. Both myself and my girlfriend use one, we actually met as Fitbit friends years ago. Neither of us will wear a watch, Fitbit just lost two more long time customers as once our ONE's stop working we'll be looking for alternatives that Fitbit no longer offers.

Same here!

I hear ya! However, Having the same feelings I did do a comparison with another and found that Fit Bit had the best program hence I returned to Fit Bit.

I purchased a new Fit Bit from either Ebay or Amazon ( don't recall which) along with the Alta(Gold series). The Alta I found no fault with (the charger is a bit delicate. I loved the fit and the comfort though Each offers their own benefits.

Thats my contribution. I do advise people now to do their homework before purchasing. Inquire as to the return policy of that particular business or seller etc. Be concerned about the program offered with the particular tracker you're checking out.

Best of luck to you.

I don't have a problem with the program. I have a problem with the devices
they offer since discontinuing the One. I cannot and will not wear a
tracker on my wrist or as a pendant. Why should I compromise and settle for
something I dislike when Fitbit arbitrarily decided to discontinue a device
I really like, could be worn discreetly, and was accurate and dependable. I
will not wear a overpriced gawdy item that advertises their company. My
road to good health does not include show and tell.

I love my Fitbit One and have for years.  I understand product churn and improvements, but it's not an improvement when a product is not replaced but discontinued, and the key feature (a non-wrist-worn tracker) is not catered for in a similar device.  I have a watch and do not want anything else to wear on my wrist.  I want a pocket-carried tracker.  Why are you driving away a loyal and committed segment of your customer base by discontinuing a highly popular product?

Please bring back the One or a similar clip/pocket-carried tracker!

This is an update on my new 'One' from Ebay.  Excellent service, got it on the 5th, free shipping and packed to withstand any shenanigans by the PO.  🙂  I set about making a new case for it so that, hopefully, this will not happen again.

I carry it in my pocket 80% of the time, and the rest of the time I loop it on my belt when I ride.  So far it has met expectations of security, at least for my life style on the barn, or with my bus monitoring job.  my One case and strapmy One case and strapAttached to my beltAttached to my beltOn my Horka BreechesOn my Horka BreechesDouble snaps and top stitchDouble snaps and top stitchmay18ONEcase4.jpgmay18ONEcase5.jpg

Unfortunately, many of us are concerned that soon they will stop
supporting the software that syncs it, so are hesitant to spend money on a
new one, being that they are still discontinued.😔

I bought one on eBay.  I hope I haven't wasted my money.

Well, hopefully they keep supporting it. I have to say I'm not optimistic
since they stupidly discontinued, and don't care about all the complaints
on here for doing it.

@Mary438They will continue to support the software

Lucky you for finding a One. Never thought about eBay.

As of 05/09/18 my Fitbit One has no longer recorded my steps, stairs or activity sleeping.

I assume, reading that Fitbit no longer sells, supports or sustains the "One" that it is now time to trash this one and move on.

Tell me I'm wrong.

All of the issue I have seen with my One are corrected with a reset:  Insert One in charger attached to computer, hold the One's button for a least 10 seconds, then remove One and press button.  If it has reset, it will boot up with the OS version, and will, once again, shows STEPS, STAIRS, etc for a couple of days.  Good luck!  I hope this works.  Also, I believe FitBit is still supporting the One.

My One just died and I'm so disappointed that it has been discontinued. I'm so going to miss having my Fitbit, I loved the One and I really am not interested in any of the watch style trackers. I do not want to wear my fitbit on my wrist, which is why I've used the One for years.
