Though Fitbit One is a popular product, as we introduce new products, we occasionally make changes to our product line to keep you on track with the most up-to-date health and fitness tracking tools.
As a result, we no longer sell the One. We recommend considering the other discreet options we offer- Fitbit Zip, if you prefer a clip-based tracker or Fitbit Flex 2 if you prefer a slim, wrist-based tracker. Or, take our quiz on http://www.fitbit.com/compare to see which device meets your needs best.
We apologize for any inconvenience and hope we can continue to provide you with Fitbit trackers you love and help you reach your goals.

Very disappointed that the ONE is discontinued. Both myself and my girlfriend use one, we actually met as Fitbit friends years ago. Neither of us will wear a watch, Fitbit just lost two more long time customers as once our ONE's stop working we'll be looking for alternatives that Fitbit no longer offers.
I love my Fitbit One and have for years. I understand product churn and improvements, but it's not an improvement when a product is not replaced but discontinued, and the key feature (a non-wrist-worn tracker) is not catered for in a similar device. I have a watch and do not want anything else to wear on my wrist. I want a pocket-carried tracker. Why are you driving away a loyal and committed segment of your customer base by discontinuing a highly popular product?
Please bring back the One or a similar clip/pocket-carried tracker!
This is an update on my new 'One' from Ebay. Excellent service, got it on the 5th, free shipping and packed to withstand any shenanigans by the PO. 🙂 I set about making a new case for it so that, hopefully, this will not happen again.
I carry it in my pocket 80% of the time, and the rest of the time I loop it on my belt when I ride. So far it has met expectations of security, at least for my life style on the barn, or with my bus monitoring job. my One case and strap

I bought one on eBay. I hope I haven't wasted my money.

As of 05/09/18 my Fitbit One has no longer recorded my steps, stairs or activity sleeping.
I assume, reading that Fitbit no longer sells, supports or sustains the "One" that it is now time to trash this one and move on.
Tell me I'm wrong.
All of the issue I have seen with my One are corrected with a reset: Insert One in charger attached to computer, hold the One's button for a least 10 seconds, then remove One and press button. If it has reset, it will boot up with the OS version, and will, once again, shows STEPS, STAIRS, etc for a couple of days. Good luck! I hope this works. Also, I believe FitBit is still supporting the One.
Tho no longer sold Fitbit claims they will continue to support the One. So far i’ve Found this to be true

Best AnswerMy One just died and I'm so disappointed that it has been discontinued. I'm so going to miss having my Fitbit, I loved the One and I really am not interested in any of the watch style trackers. I do not want to wear my fitbit on my wrist, which is why I've used the One for years.
