Brand New Charge 2 - Not charging

Hi,

 

I purchased a FitBit 2 yesterday, it arrived and I was so excited to get it setup, however it was completely dead. 

 

I put it on charge at 8pm, it’s now  5:30am and it’s still not turning on.

 

I’ve read through other posts on this issue but it’s still not working - it seems to be plugged in right as the button on the left has fitted nicely into the little slot.

 

No vibrate when originally plugged in which I think can be a sign it’s not charging - however could that also be that it’s got zero battery.

 

help!

@GLR89 It's great to see that you've visited the Fitbit Community! Sorry to hear that your Charge 2 isn't charging. Charge it by plugging it for a couple of hours directly to your computer's usb port (try different ports) or use an UL listed usb wall adapter. After this, restart your device and see how it behaves.

It ended up being a faulty device.

 

Returned and replaced today
