Love my Fitbit but hate that my screen has cracked down the middle. I have not dropped it or done anything weird just put it in charge and woke up to a cracked screen. It seems to have warped and now I cannot read the time etc. still works and syncs to phone but cannot use it as a watch 😢 Seems to be a common occurrence with these watches. Can you get the screen replaced?

Yours in only one of many similar complaints. Fitbit cannot deny that there is a defective screen on the Charge 2 and yet they don’t seem to want to recall this device. The loudest voice Fitbit customers have is to quit purchasing Fitbit products. Good on ya, mate!

I have contacted Fitbit support and responded to the survey about my satisfaction with the outcome. I, like many others, feel a recall is appropriate. That is a lot of potential loss of customers.

I have just counted the number of cracked screens on the first four pages of this thread. There are 35 cracked screens. There are 13 pages so far of this thread. When will Fitbit accept its a problem. I was lucky as I got a replacement as mine was under warranty. I don't know what I'll do if this one cracks.

36 then because my screen is cracked the same way.
Turns out my warranty was not expired so I’m trying my luck

Mine cracked where many of yours cracked - not in the center, but along the sides, where it appears to be a junction in the screen. They sent me a 'courtesy' replacement when I called, but the replacement died (no charge, won't turn on, won't reset, won't restart, nothing) before I could start using it.
Now the cracks are so bad that the center of the screen is pushed in. It still seems to work, but the display is harder to read and I know it's going to completely die at any second. So I'll soon be shopping for a non-Fitbit tracker, I think. I'm not impressed with the lack of durability.

Yours will probably progress to become like mine - that's exactly how mine started.

Well that sucks. But I suppose I can begin looking for a good replacement already then. Gotta look on the bright side 😏

Referring to those who are employed by FitBit as "clowns" would be disrespectful to clowns. The Customer No Service (as Clark Howard would say) staff are most likely doing what their bosses instruct.

hi - just reading paperwork supplied with my 15 month old fit bit - if you are in the EEA (europe) there is a 2yr limited warranty (1yr every where else) - looks like i will get a replacement (do you think they will give me a garmin) - cant wait till the screen cracks again next year, ill be back on here again.
