I have tried all suggested. Only get a blank screen with horizontal lines. I have only had this fit bit for 6 months.

Please can you let me know who I can complain to about this I love my fit bit however it’s seems that this is happening to people all the time and you are not addressing it. I have tried everything and I need to know what I can do. I hope they do not only have a life of 18 to 24 months. Please help

I agree with you.
Mine just stopped working, didn't bump it, get it wet, or receive any other
damage, not even a scratch!! Because mine stopped working for no reason I
think it's a software issue, pity they couldn't fix it like they do an
update?

Mine has done this as well. Yesterday the screen reversed itself I managed to correct  that and now the screen has died the lights are on and it vibrates but the screen is black.

Mine too. The screen was patchy and glitchy for a while and now nothing.   I'm not impressed. My first Charge was replaced as it literally fell apart, they sent me an Alta which was ok.  Then this charge hasn't lasted long. I'm not sure if i should stay with the brand or not.

I have the same problem and so far nothing has worked to get it started.  A couple of times stripes of light flashed briefly on then off quickly but that is all the life there is except green flashing light on the back and vibrating.

February 2018 FitBit responds to the first one or two customers with rote reset instructions and asking if USB is faulty or points are dirty... yet you acknowledged it was charged.  Dozens of customers complain of the same... and nothing but silence from FitBit.  September 2020... My Charge 2 has the same problem now.  I would buy a new VERSA 3, $75 more than my original Charge 2 price, but I am tired of FitBit quality issues.  How can I justify spending $220 on a disposable wearable?

no i wouldn't buy another fitbit. They are expensive and go wrong just after 2 yrs so out of warantee. Try a different make....... garmin?

I agree, it's a shame because other than their durability fitbits are good
products. I doubt I'll buy another for just that reason, no amount of
discount on a new one makes up for putting more into landfills

Just a quick point. My charge 2 is almost 4 years old. The battery is just starting to show signs of no longer fully charging. But I haven't installed the last update on the charge itself and my phone hasn't had app updates for some time as it is Android 5. Isn't it strange that mine still works?

I had to update app when I upgraded from charge hr to charge 2 and that was
the only app update from the original download.
The tracker firmware was the original, never updated. My tracker still
stopped working. Was instructed to update app and tracker by technical
support but that did not fix my problem.
I don't think installing the latest updates makes any difference, I think
it's just luck

I have contacted FitBit repeatedly because my unit was not that old. It
had zero misuse, the screen just went blank. Using it with no display to
connect to my phone is useless. They have been gracious enough to
acknowledge the problem, but their solution was a coupon towards a new
unit. Seeing so many in this string have the same issue, I am not inclined
to buy another one. If FitBit were to replace mine, I would wear it and
give it a fair review if it keeps working properly.

Mine still works,  I just can't see the screen.   It will charge and vibrate,  and track movement,  but I can't see the display to start,  stop, or change lotions.   Useless.  They did offer me a solution, a coupon for a minimal percentage on the new more expensive unit.  Given the number of people with the exact same issue in this string, I am not inclined to waste my money.   If they were to send me a replacement,  I would wear it and give it a fair review, as long as it kept working.

Should I fee any better since they offered me 30% off??? This is outrageous, they just confirmed this is not worth to repurchase. Unfortunately, I’ll look into another tracker, maybe an Iwatch...

We all just have to make purchases based on what product best meets our
needs. I think each new FitBit has better quality than prior versions. My
oldest daughter uses apple watches. I don’t think hers hold up that much
better but do have more features that I wouldn’t use. I usually want a
newer version for its features before my older one quits.
