Hi.  My Fitbit is stuck on November 8, 2016 with a time currently of 10:57 a.m.   However, it is approximately 2:19 p.m. on November 9, 2016.

How do I reset please?

@6205 @Deannasep11 If you haven't already, I would make sure that the time zone in your Fitbit account is set correctly and then sync your tracker in order for the changes to take effect.

@66leonard Welcome to our Community! @DerrickS's post has a link that you just need to click (the highlighted pale blue text). If you are using the website dashboard you can click the gear icon and then settings and all the way down you will see the time zone options, select the one that matches your timezone and then sync. You will now see the correct time on your tracker.

Let me know how it goes!

@66leonard for clarification did you try both with the Fitbit app and the web link provided, syncing after each try?

Best Answer

@66leonard Any chance you can post a screenshot of what you are seeing on your browser and Windows 10 app? This should help all of us here in this thread to better assist you. Another thing you could try is restarting your tracker by doing the following:

1. Plug the charging cable into the USB port on your computer or any UL-certified USB wall charger.
2. Clip the other end of the charging cable to the port on the back of the tracker. The pins on the charging cable must lock securely with the port.
3. Make sure the button on your tracker is aligned with the button opening on the charging cable. You’ll know the connection is secure when the tracker vibrates and you see a battery icon on your tracker’s display. Your Charge 2 will begin charging.
4. Press and hold the button on your tracker for four seconds. When you see the Fitbit logo and the tracker vibrates, this means the tracker has restarted.
5. Unplug your tracker from the charging cable.

Remember that you need to sync your tracker for the changes to be transferred to it.

Keep me posted.

@nancy1012 Happy to have you visiting our Community! Are you too having issues with the time on your Charge 2? What phone do you use to sync your tracker? Try entering a different timezone and sync your tracker, then enter the correct one and sync again and see if it shows the correct time now. Besides try the suggestions in my previous post.

I look forward to your reply.

how do I re-set the time and date

@pellie, the time & date on the tracker are set at the time of syncing it.  The time & date comes from the device you are syncing it with, such as your phone.  If it is not syncing, it will not be able to pick up the time.

Hello @SunsetRunner while I'm not Fitbit, their contact info can be found in the top right corner, I am one of the Fitbit users your asking.

When was the last time that you synced?  Has it synced recently, this is how you set the time in the tracker.

Did the time get thrown off by DST?, if so try a restart of the phone then sync.

If this doesn't fix it, change the timezone, then set it Navi and sync.

Time is fine, it changed to PDTime on its own.
BUT number of steps never reverted to "0" at might.
Was 14,500 when I went to sleep and when I woke up.
Day changed and it's evening again - steps keep going up!
NOTHING recommended works!?
