Just got off a Live Chat very angry about the bubbling that keeps happening with my band. This is the second time and they won't replace it. I want to get one with the band made out of a different material as this is an obvious fault - I never go near water with it.... any advice ?

I guess the point is the material they are using is defective. All faulty items should be replaced

@SimoneR Welcome to the Fitbit Community! It's great to have you here! Sorry to hear that your band is damaged and that it is outside the warranty period. As @Odyssey13 mentioned the warranty is what Support follows in these cases.Still if you wish you can share your suggestion about using different materials in our Feature suggestions board. Search for the idea first to see if one already exist so you can add your vote. The more votes an idea gets the more likely the developers will try to implement it.
Let me know how it goes!

Look at this picture, this happened after 4 months of usage. I am out of the year and I am very curious about the answer. This is outrageous that this is the quality fitbit provides.

Hi Alvaro,
It turned out that there is a two year coverage in Europe so they sent me another one. My problem is solved for now.
But to be honest with you this doesn't feel right. I mean this is not a cheap product and this is not positioned to be a cheap product and still the quality reminds us that this is a cheap product.
The strap itself is very good quality and I believe it would hold at least 5 years but the attaching part is just a mess. I mean attaching a rigid plastic piece to a rubber band... I think this is an engineering failure and it will not become better until this design is changed.
In just 1,5 year I had to order two replacements and my wife also had to order one after three months of usage.
I am sure you understand this situation as none of us want to buy stuff which cannot do its purpose.
