Just contacted customer support and they do not have a fix to the issue as of yet. They say they are working on a solution, but for now - nothing official. They do believe it should reset at midnight but nothing can be done about the step count as of yet.

Sorry to hear that your steps didn’t reset at midnight and for the delay in my response. This may happen when there is a change in timezone (due to travel or DST changes). You can restart your device as this will help it reset the following midnight but it won’t remove the steps from the affected date.
Let me know how it goes.

No worries - all good. It re-set at midnight, as I expected...
Just work on it for the next time-change, would you?

@Rothmichael thank you for your update. Happy to hear that your Charge 2 reset back to 0 the following midnight. The team is working on a fix for this issue so hopefully this will be resolved soon but no expected timeframe is available at this time.
I'll be around.

I have had the problem this weekend. It did not reset between Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th. Being in the UK there is no DST change until the end of the month.

My fitbit Charge 2 did not reset when the time changed. Everything else is working normally, but I am now an hour behind on the time and in all of my challenges. What kind I do to fix it?

I would try syncing with the phone app. That's what I need to do to reset the time when I go to a foreign country and the time zone has changed significantly. Hope that works for you.

I should have replied earlier to say that it reset correctly at the next midnight without any intervention on my part.
The problem did not occur two weeks later when the UK time changed to BST.
