Hi all. It's now Wednesday and I haven't been able to sync my charge 2 since 6.30 Sunday night...I have tried re set, uninstalling the app, plugging the charge straight to my lap top...is anyone else having a issue or have any more ideas. Thanks

Same thing, but mine works with phone, which I don't want to use, not with desk top. Worse, everyone began issues with the fall update and for Fitbit staff to keep saying it is us.. well I'm fed up.

Suggestions on different brand?

Btw.. don't insult AIs. They don't lie to you on purpose.

@SleepDeprived60 I ended up switching to the Garmin vivosport. I have no issues with syncing, the mobile app and web dashboard are quite good, the device is A LOT more comfortable and attractive, and has GPS and other features beyond the Charge 2 at about the same price point. I'm very happy I switched even though my Charge 2 was still within the warranty period.

Hi Sleep,

I've switched to the Samsung Gear S3 and I love it.  I know many that switched to either this or the Garmin and either seems to be enjoyed equally.  Both have pluses and minuses as did my Fitbit.  Unlike my Charge 2, I have yet to have any syncing issues.  I've had my S3 since Christmas with no data complaints.  I do wish it had a longer lasting battery but I just have to charge it every two days.  Even with the more frequent charging, I like it more.

I hope this helps.

It has been a LONG time since I got my Fitbit Charge 2 to sync with my
phone. It works fine syncing via bluetooth on my laptop OR using the USB
dongle on my desktop, but no support from Fitbit - just the standard mumbo
jumbo about resetting everything, etc. etc. The fact is - something
happened with an update to the app itself and broke the ability for these
devices to sync to some phones (I'm guessing older ones). Fitbit doesn't
care. They don't have human beings responding to these forums - just
robots that say the same thing over and over again. Long story short -
this is about my 4th or 5th Fitbit, I've gotten my family and friends to
use Fitbit, etc. BUT, when this one stops working, I'll likely be moving on
to another platform that actually cares about customer service. Very
disappointing.
