My Charge 2 has stopped syncing since 12/6. Not sure what’s going on. Can someone help?

Mine too! Last synced 12/7. Can't find anything that works. Help Fitbit!

Here are the steps I received from Fitbit support for the issue. However, I have to do it several times to have my Charge 2 start syncing.  Not sure if the issue will return after next update, hoping not.  But for now it works after several tries.

----

  1. Turn off Bluetooth on your phone; wait 10 seconds, and then turn it back on.
  2. Try setting up your device again.
  3. Turn your Fitbit device off and back on using the instructions in How do I restart my Fitbit device?
  4. Try setting up your device again.
  5. If you can't set up after a restart, reboot your phone or tablet (turn it off and then back on).
  6. Try setting up your device again.
  7. If you can't set up after the reboot, remove all other Fitbit devices from your account and from the list of connected Bluetooth devices on your phone or tablet.
  8. Try setting up your device again.
  9. If you can't set up after removing all other Fitbit devices, try uninstalling and reinstalling the Fitbit app.

Just tried something that worked for syncing Charger 2 and Samsung Note 3.  Plug in your Fitbit like you are charging it. Then hold down the button on the side of the fitbit for 4 seconds or so until the fitbit logo appears on the fit it screen. This restarts it. At the same time, go to the cell phone fitbit app, under the settings tab and manually sync your device. It may take multiple tries to sync.  Hope this works for you.

Hello everyone. Sorry to hear that your Charge 2 isn't syncing. Please try going to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there. Restart your phone and restart your device. After this try syncing them. Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on. You can find additional instructions here.

Let me know how it goes!
