Charge 2 incorrect GPS run tracking

I did a park run today, which I know was 3 miles, when I had finished the map of my run all over the place, it said I had been down roads which I know I hadn’t? It logged the run as about 4.5 miles? Any advice on why it’s done this or how to stop it?
Thanks

@Gally30 Welcome! It's good that the community is growing!

Let me help you with your GPS map not being accurate. Which phone are you using? Is it compatibleYou can try refreshing the link between your phone and your tracker by doing the following:

  • Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  • Restart your phone and restart your device
  • Check that no battery saving app/feature on your phone is affecting your Fitbit app.
  • Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.
  • You can find troubleshooting instructions here.

Let me know how it goes.
