My app has stopped recognising any activity. Last weekend everything was working fine then 2 days later my tracker is showing calories burnt after a class but on syncing to the app…no exercise registers. I have done all the recommended stuff…opening/closing/deleting apps and tracker and still nothing.
Does anyone have any suggestions/ideas/advice please?

The glitch must be something so big that the support team is trying to do something about that. Any one of the moderators can help confirm this.

Seriously frustrated. My charge 4 fell apart so I've gone back to my 2. Not being able to sync my workouts is frustrating. It only recognizes the steps, and active minutes. yet if I don't hit workout it will recognize any activity over 20 minutes .
Time to start thinking about another brand. Will not be fitbit or Google devices

What do you mean by fell apart?

I gave them 10 months of promises that the fix was right around the corner. Gave in a week ago and purchased another brand - will never use a Fitbit or google product again. Google support has been terrible. So disappointing because my Fitbit Charge 2 is working great - it's a problem with the app.

Both plastic parts that connect to replacement bands broke and the screen came off.

@JuanFitbit did admit that there was a problem with the app.

Don't those models have replacement bands?

It's the plastic on the charge 4 itself that broke. I just found in another thread there are bands on Amazon that go around the whole screen and don't connect to the device on the top and bottom. I'm go to try gluing the screen back in with e6000 and try these new bands.

Juan,
Any objective (real) information on progress that is being made by the team? It's been over 9 months since Fitbit made several hundred thousand customers with perfectly usable Charge 2 devices less satisfied with their Fitbit experience. Zero actual progress in rectifying the issue since then. My particular Charge 2 has stopped even recording my sleep for the past 3 days. It's almost as if Fitbit is deliberately crippling Charge 2 devices as a planned obsolescence tactic to generate revenue by forcing unnecessary upgrades to new devices.
Please provide some empirical information on progress. Thank you.
