I'm interested if anyone else has had this problem. I have a Charge 2 and the band recently broke. I purchased a new band three weeks ago. As of 90 minutes ago the Charge 2 stopped syncing with my phone and when I disabled the phone bluetooth and used my surface pro, the device couldn't be detected by the surface pro either. I've tried turning the phone off and on and the bluetooth off and on. All my other bluetooth devices are working perfectly well. Now, to be honest I don't trust people who make these devices. There is planned obsolescence and I suspect that the manufacturers have simply switched off the bluetooth signal in my charge 2 to force me to buy a charge 3. I'm interested if this has happened to anyone else. If so, I will abandon fitbit altogether even though I have used their devices for more than four years. Not only is this morally wrong to do this, it is destroying our planet by piling up perfectly good devices that are made redundant by the manufacturers. Fitbit also don't have any system to recycle the materials from redundant fitbit devices. I use a garmin for running and would switch to always using their device. I've had a fenix 3 for four years and it has never failed. This is my third fitbit.

@MCQ I hope you're doing well!
Sorry to hear that your Charge 2 isn't syncing and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. Which phone are you using? Is it compatible? You can try going to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there. Restart your phone and restart your device. After this try syncing them. Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on. You can find additional suggestions here.
Let me know how it goes.

I have this problem too. I'm using the same phone that I've always used but it has not been syncing for the past few days! This is my 3rd Fitbit and won't be buying another when they are not reliable

I've also got this issue, charge 2 synced perfectly until 10am this morning. There is another thread in this forum that has 66 replies; syncing is a major issue at the moment. Few peeps have updated their app & are now syncing ok?!
