I've had a fit but charge 2 for about a week now. Something is wrong with its sleep tracking feature. So far of the 7 nights I've worn the Fitbit it has only tracked sleep for 2 of them. I have seen posts where it was a sensitivity setting messing up the time asleep but mine has no data at all for most days.
Hopefully someone can asssit with getting this feature working otherwise the Fitbit is getting returned.
Thanks.

Hello there, my Charge 2 didn't track my sleep last night, and I tried to restart many times, but still that info does not show, do you know why?

Did you try restarting the phone? This is what fixes my android notification problem, along with the connected GPS. It also at the same time fixes my none printing problem .

My Charge 2 doesn’t track my sleep properly. I’ve called Fitbit and worked with technicians via email. Problem not solved. Fitbit replaced, new one still not tracking sleep properly. I see so many other posts like mine so I know I’m not alone with this issue and I hope Fitbit fixes the issue.

SJW61 ... I think it's interesting you got a new one and same problem. Mine is not working either. Everyone has given suggestions on what to do and none work. I would like to know if it is a technical problem, or maybe half the fit bit wearing population has a soft heart beat the fit bit cannot read and there is no fix???????
p.s. Sync more often? really?? I sync all the time and most of those times it has already synced on its own.

@Awkward1 I would try changing sep to sensitive or changing the heart rate to on. Actualy you could try different combinations.
If all fails you can manually start sleep from their it app.
Now as far as your replacement goes, if it was re-manufactured t will be clearly marked.

Dear Fitbit Community Board Monitors:
The sleep function on my Fitbit HR (my second Fitbit) does not work right, has never worked right, and probably never will, no matter how many times I reboot the thing. It splits my night between 2 dates and generally calculates my time asleep in two or three different segments (no matter how many times I reboot, I repeat).
The elephant in the room here needs to be honestly acknowledged: the sleep monitor on the device just doesn’t work very well, and needs to be overhauled or reengineered. Don’t blow smoke up our behinds about how it’s not tight enough or we used too much lotion, etc.... Fitbit obviously just doesn’t have this function dialed in yet.
For a reasonable discount, I’d be happy to turn in my old device and buy the next generation of the device if it really works better. Otherwise I think next time I’ll go big and just get a smart watch that can actually do what it claims to.

Hello @Rockprof thanks for bringing this to my attention, it's nice to see you again participating here in the Community Forums. My apologies for the delay in responding,
I appreciate all the information and details that were shared in your post, I totally understand how frustrating this matter can be for you, thanks for restarting your Charge 2 prior posting. To better assist you, can you please let me know when was the first time you experienced this and how many times since then? Also, I recommend you to try sleeping with your Charge 2 on your non-dominant hand and check if the sleep settings on your account is in normal instead of sensitive.
Regarding your discount question, please note that at this moment we do not have any promotion available in our Fitbit store.
Keep me posted, I'll be here.
