My charge 2 screen keeps scrolling on its own and then it suddenly stops and gets stuck on one screen and you can't change it. I press the button and nothing happens, i have rebooted the device and re installed the app numerous times and it still doesn't rectify the problem. Has anyone else had this problem?

As with everyone else, my FB too has started the sporadic scrolling. Today it was so bad it killed its own battery.
How long is the warranty?

Yes . Mine did this a few days ago after I took it off. It wont stop and drains my battery in like an hour. Did you get yours fixed and if so how did you do it ?

Another user with the same problem. Mine seems to be happening on the charger, too, so it can’t get enough if a charge before it dies again.

One year. I called customer service. They made an attempt to reboot, but with no success. Deep sixed it!

I also have the same issue. Unfortunately no replacement for me out off warranty. Looking at some of the threads and forums this looks like a general problem. Difficult to accept that a general problem like this is left just like this. Now the customers must fork out the money to buy another one.

I recently had this issue, rebooted the fitbit 3 or 4 time to no avail as per previous instructions and you tube videos. The scroll issue continued for a few days while I tried to resolve it & its out of warranty so would have no luck with support.
The first time I left the fitbit battery run out completely then recharge but it continued to scroll through settings.
The battery ran out pretty quickly again under that amount of use.
I left the fit bit idle for two days while its batter was dead / completely flat.
I then recharged it on the 3rd day and checked it when it was completely charged and it was back to normal and working as expected.
It has been working with out issue for two weeks now! 🙂

Mine started playing up yesterday.
I've reset it a few times. No change.
I'm going to let the battery drain and the reset it again.
Let's see.
Not impressed.

@hallm I hope you're doing well! Sorry for the delay in my reply.
Let me help you with your Charge 2 not working as it should Did the battery drain helped fix the issue? Since this continues after the restart I have created a ticket so our Support team can further assist you via email.
Let me know how it goes.

I gave up on it and am using my wife's Charge 2 (bought Dec 2017, 3 months after mine). I charged mine this morning anyway and you can see the result.
Shocker.

I'm a "me too" on this list. What's the next step? Can the Charge 2 be repaired or is it toast?

Yep, toast--The lesson seems to be:
1. Get in touch with fitbit before you replace the product (I used Chat) to show you're done all the steps to reboot, restart, test, trace, and isolate the problem
2. Get the 25% discount on your next approved purchase because they value your patronage,
3. Then buy the replacement online and consider the 2-year extended warranty if you're hard on exercise watches. I'm going with the Charge 3 (over the Inspire HR) because it swims, counts floors, and holds onto battery power for a couple more days. By the way, I've gone with this company for years, starting with the gateway Zip, then the One, and eventually to the Charge, and they have treated me well.
