Charge 2 text and call notifications not working

Just got my charge 2 and text and call notifications not coming through...I have done lots of troubleshoots that I have read about and nothing is working I have iPhone 6s

Neither did i.
I was worried that i would but nope was all still there. But i found this didn’t work nothing that was suggested worked! I still never received messages but yet fit bit said iwas receiving them when i actually wasnt, one day i just let my fitbit battery die didnt put it on charge till it was flat!! And then i started receiving message notifications again. So i say if non of the suggested steps work let the battery run out completely and then charge it for the 2 hrs and hopefully it will work... as it did for me and i havent had a problem since.....

I have the Fitbit Charge 2 and the IPhone 8. They are synced, and I can recieve phone call notifications on my FitBit but cannot recieve text messages.

Check your settings in the fitbit app, to make sure text message
notification is enabled.

Thank you! I have been getting messages again, not always, and do remember my battery dying at one point so it looks like this might be the trick! Thanks for putting two and two together for me!!

I had the notification on my actual fitbit turned off!! Go to the clock screen and press and hold the button.

Same here! Didn't even know that was a thing! Just hold the button down and make sure notifications are on.

Throwing this out there because it just happened to me (still new to Fitbit) 

If you hold the button on the side of the watch face for 2-3 seconds it toggles notifications on/off.

Finally...this was happening since the last IPHONE update and it was so frustrating...thank you so much it worked and I am back on track

I have a Motorola Droid and I can't get text messages. The charge2 is synched to the Fitbit app but not to the Bluetooth so frustrated

Toogle the notifications on using the button on side of the fitbit tracker.

I am not too sure why it still doesn't work out for me. I receive notifications for calls but no txt. I am using OSi 11.2...

I followed the directions, reinstalled app and notifications STILL do not work! HELP!!!!!

This did not not work on my iPhone 7, I have charge 2, followed the instructions but I did not the option to chose a “new device”. Any ideas? Thanks x

Hurray the notifications are on my phone!!   BUT, after doing all the deleting of app and reinstalling of app, none of my walking or sleep, etc. is available. NOW, how do i remedy that?
