Please can someone tell me how I get a 24 hour clock up as I can only get 12 hour clocks ? Does fitbit charge plan to do 24 clock? My old blaze used to have one

Hello @rsbea1,

Welcome to the community!

It's not on your Charge 3.  Please do this:

  1. Go to your Fitbit settings.  Yes, go to this URL: https://www.fitbit.com/settings/profile. It's a webpage.  It's not on your tracker; it's not on the Fitbit App.
  2. On that page, scroll down to the place where it says "Clock Display Time".  It'll look like this:

fitbit-24-hourclock.jpg

    3.  Select 24-hour format.

    4.  Sync your tracker for the setting to take effect.

I hope this helps.

Thank you for that prompt reply.
I realised at last it was not on the app and have managed now to change to 24 hour format.
Much appreciated.

It’s now 1/11/2020 and the issue has not been corrected. I was messaging someone from FitBit and she said she’d have her supervision email me in a few hours. No one has gotten back to me and that was over 7 hours ago.

@HiTina,

Every time I've tried this it works.  Please try it again.  Specifically:

  1. Go to your web browser.  This won't work on the Fitbit App.
  2. For the URL type:  https://www.fitbit.com/settings/profile
  3. Scroll down on the page, you should eventually see the option hour setting, it'll look like this:

fitbit-24-hourclock.jpg

     4. After selecting 24 hour format.  Sync your tracker, otherwise it won't take effect.

If this doesn't work.  Then post a screenshot of what your settings page looks like so that we can help you further diagnose.

I hope this helps.

It's the 12 hour that I would have it set to and there is still this 0 here. 😩

It's the 12 hours clock I'd need. The 0 is still there. Fitbit.png

@HiTina,

Oh, I finally understand what you mean by the 'the 0 is still there'.  You mean the leading zero in front of the time display, like '08:00' for 8am.

The 24 hour setting controls which number is displayed after you have reached 1pm.  Is the hour displayed going to be '1' or '13'.  It does not control if there's a leading zero ('1' vs. '01').

Different clock faces will have leading zero; others will not.  It's strictly a function of the clock face; pick one that does.

I hope this helps.

Thanks for taking the time to respond. I also received an email from the escalation team that said the same thing. It just doesn’t make sense that there would be a 0 there. Especially since I chose the retro charge 2 clock and I had a charge 2 which did not have the 0. I’m going to be looking at other watches in the future. I’m so unhappy with the customer service and this useless 0 lol. I never did hear from the supervisor who was supposed to get back to me on Saturday. Oh well. Thanks again.

@HiTina,

Have you tried all of the clock faces?  Maybe there's one that doesn't have the leading zero.  I often wear the Versa 2, some clock faces have the leading zero others do not.

FitBit told me to use Double Stat, which doesn’t have the zero. It also doesn’t have a colon between the numbers. They are killing me....
