Charge 3 Issues

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Have had a Charge 3 for about 2 months and have already had more issues with it than the entire time I used my Charge 2. What is Fitbit doing to address the ongoing issues we all seem to be having. Definitely wouldn't recommend that anyone purchase a Charge 3.

Oh WOW, it's still my first one. I have it since November last year. It
obviously looks like mine held longer than "usual".
I will definitely call them. Thank you !!

That's so sad. But thank you though.

Did you have to register the fitbit for it to be under warranty? I am having issues with mine and have had it since Christmas.

Did you have to register  your Fitbit for it to be under warranty or was it automatically under warranty?

That's a bummer Fitbit is never going to refund your purchase. I try to buy all of my electronics from stores or online sites that give full refunds if not satisfied.

Lucky I got mine from Harvey Norman. They had no issue with swapping it for something else as it clearly wasn't working. Sometimes a good idea to use a good old fashioned retail shop. 😊

This is my 5th Fitbit.  I started with the little clip on model years ago, then upgraded within a couple of years to a wrist model. Both worked well.

A few years ago the Blaze I bought was so problematic I sent it back within a few weeks. I loved my Charge 2,but after a year it died. I bought the charge 3 in May and it has been a constant problem. It was initially very difficult to set up, but finally seemed to be working all right in spite of short battery life and counting stairs as steps. Within the last month, however,  it has stopped syncing,  lost 13 minutes of time in the last week, won't update and tonight the charger won't work. What a waste of time and money for a device that I spent over 100 dollars for barely 3 months ago. Trying to get to online support is a joke as it keeps linking me to the Twitter account.  This is my last Fitbit and I will certainly never recommend it. The quality has definitely tanked, which is too bad as I've been a loyal user.

Mine is being returned this week for a replacement.

It will not track my sleep correctly and the readings for my heartbeat are way out - always around 150 and showing in excess of 12 hours peak each day!!

I should add that it even records these raised heartbeats when I am sleeping!

I am having such a hard time with this Charge 3, it is still under manufacture warranty and this is the 2nd time being replaced, not syncing, not charging, line down the middle, not working completely. I have troubleshooted so many times, and it has been replaced after 2 months of purchase. What is the problem?? I paid 149.99 but the solution is either replace it or get 50% of an upgrade. Umm no - how about paying the difference ??? So I am replacing it again by the fitbit company and will continue to do so probably every 2 months until the warranty is expired, then I will use the square trade to replace it every two months after that - sad but until they find a better solution it will be done - FITBIT - I DO NOT want 50% off an upgrade, I want my money back in full or pay the difference for an upgraded better watch , Im loosing out on a defective product you produced!

Was it automatically under warranty or do you have to register it?

It’s under manufacture warranty for a year then it goes to extended warranty that I purchased - so I’m on watch number two - second time being replaced by fit bit - so basically I just keep getting the watch replaced by Fitbit company until they figure out the problem - they offered me 50 percent off another watch or replacement. For free - I don’t think it’s a fair deal so I’m out 150 dollars and then have to dish out more to replace with an upgrade so like another 100 - so their issue will cost me 250$ - if I had known this issue I would have never bought it - I asked to pay the difference for another watch but they said no so I’ll continue getting a free replacement I guess
