Charge 3 Issues

Have had a Charge 3 for about 2 months and have already had more issues with it than the entire time I used my Charge 2. What is Fitbit doing to address the ongoing issues we all seem to be having. Definitely wouldn't recommend that anyone purchase a Charge 3.

Did they pay shipping to return?  I see no way in making the charge 3 waterproof as advertised unless they have a recall and send one that actually works more that a week or two. I’m on my third one and excuse my language but it sucks and poorly made. Even my heart rate is not accurate.  How do I know?  My BP, the doctor’s numbers, nurse who cared for me after back surgery.  It it defective and I also do not believe they pay attention to comments.

I have had my Charge 3 for less than a year and now my THIRD one has died.  They last 2-3 months then die.  Fitbit has replaced it each time but this is ridiculous.  I really liked my Charge 2.  Never had problems with it until it died after 3 years.

So it’s not just me. Sorry you are also having ongoing problems with the Charge 3.

 

I am blasting them for no fix for all the bugs in numerous models. It is trash and only a full refund will be acceptable.

I wish... if that works let me know, I stashed my two old ones hoping for something to happen sometime someday,.... they don’t listen or help...

Hi 

I have a charge 3 and Since Friday 17th it has a black transparent line where the date is and the rest has transparent while lines very visible.  Please could you advise what this may be?

Good luck. They will not do anything about mine. I will never suggest any Fitbit product.  You get what you pay for which is why an Apple Watch May have been a better deal since they actually works as advertised.  I’m on my third Fitbit and I haven’t involved my kids who purchased it for me as a gift. So now I have to lie to them.

If you got a response that gave a clear answer good for you. But it seems there are so many of us who have the charge 3 and clearly explain what happened, all I get is scripted messages on twitter and on here.

As of this morning, no apps, or ability to swipe on my Charge 3. Restarted it, connected on phone. Saw other posts with no reply and have no idea what other steps to take.

I am having the same issues....I really feel like this is a defective product and we should be able to exchange for a different model

It sucks that they won’t replace!! I kept my two just to wait and see... switched to another and it works, but I hold hope that the company may come around some day...massive complaints!!!

I agree- as well as many on this site - but apparently FITBIT doesn’t think they have a defective product - it’s my first and last product purchase

Sick to death of having to reboot fitbit so it finds iPhone. Says connected but wont refresh data until after reboot. So many updates of late, get it right FFS!!! Don't recommend this product. My first and last Fitbit.

Dear fitbit moderator - I started with the fitbit one and then the two and now got the three for Xmas 19 but it's not working properly?Can I return it? Maybe I should just use my old fitbit two?? The fitbit three is no good!

 

I want my fitbit to be replaced with a new one!

this is my 3rd fitbit charge 3 and I'm still having problems I would not purchase another This one I have been going in salt water pool while away it keeps vibrating then black screen It doesn't hold a charge now its not even coming on it's toast.

I bought my first Charge 3 on 12 April 2019 and it has now become something of a standing joke in Curry's as I am just about to get my 7th replacement since then.  This last time it juddered and packed up after swimming. I always take it off and dry it before I shower and because I am a little paranoid now about anything affecting it I am very careful to follow the guidelines.  I have tried all the tips and advice on how to reboot it and it is still as dead as a Dodo, this time I have noticed that the little windows at the back of it have condensation.  Who knows?  Anyway it's going back tomorrow, Curry's have been brilliant and have always replaced it without any quibble and have even given me a longer warranty.  I love my Charge 3 when it is working but it is a pain to keep having to go into town to replace it.

within 3 months of my original purchase i had to have my charge 3 replaced due to it stopping completely.  This happened 3 times during my 1 year warranty.  I am now a month past my 1 year and its died again.  very disappointed.
